You and Haechan have been best friends for a long time. So long that you didn't remember your life before him. You have to admit that being friends with him is hard. You guys didn't have much time to hang out because he'll be extremely busy after college, you know trying to live up the life of being a CEO. You pity him because his parents decided to give the entire company to him the minute he turned 18 years old. He couldn't live the normal life of being an emotional young teenager like he's supposed to be.

He was told to be perfect, to act perfect and to even speak perfectly. The heavy burdens of being a CEO didn't take a toll on his grades though, because he always has you as his motivator, and you helped him a lot on catching up. He's pretty lucky that you took the same major as him. His family was so thankful that he has a friend like you.

Despite his busy life, he always tries to make time for you. He would set up little study dates or maybe little hangouts whenever he saw a little empty gap on his schedule. Even though you said that you didn't mind if you guys didn't hang out at all for a week, his stubbornness beat your words, as always.

He would usually come back to hang out with you with his unsteady breath from trying to get there in time (courtesy of his father always reminding him to be on time on any event) and with his messed up suit from all the running.

The buttons of his suit he's wearing were opened, his tie was nowhere to be seen, and his shirt was open two buttons down. You gotta admit he looked hot with this messy get up of his. Not to mention how he always smirks and the way he swiped his hair while saying that he got there on time. You never knew that a look like this would affect you so much. But what you did know was that you need to stop reading CEO Fan Fictions so you don't have any weird thoughts about all this. Oh, how you wish he wouldn't get too close to you, afraid that your rapidly beating heart would make Hyuck notice your feelings for him.

Hyuck was no different. He loves spending time with you because, with you, it's the only time where he can be himself. Not to mention that you listen to all his rants every time, like that one idiot – probably one of the new janitors – who mess up the files in his office. You could only laugh at his whining to which Haechan smiled upon seeing your reaction. He loves hearing you laugh, it's as if his battery has been fully charged again. Of course, Haechan is smart enough to know his feelings towards you, but he kept it to himself and so did you.

After hiding these feelings between yourselves. Both of you decided to confess at the same time. You guys were around 20 years old then, you found yourself a house and found a stable job. The confession took place at your house, a normal hang out place for you two. As they say, the night is where people would usually spill their emotions and that's what happened.

You guys didn't want to make it official though. So for the 4 years, you've been acting like normal best friends but there are moments where you both were intimate with each other. But it was nothing more than flirting back and forth. Well, there are a few kisses exchanged but nothing too intimate.

These past few weeks, Haechan's company is as busy as ever. Haechan was planning to collaborate with another bigger company, and today was the meeting. You could tell that he was nervous. The night before the meeting, he came over to your house for moral support. He came to your house with a tired and pale face, his bag hung loose on his shoulders and his suit in hand.
