Lee Donghyuck has always been annoying to you. You were always in the same class in junior high, and it didn't help that you both somehow go to the same high school. Thank the gods that they didn't put you in the same class anymore. Although, you two did sign up for the same club, Archery. When you two met up after school, you guys were literally screaming in horror once you saw each other's faces. The archery team was a little bit flabbergasted to see you two always competing with each other, but it somehow helped you both.

It didn't help that you both have the same group of friends.

The passion of trying to beat each other in skill gave you the fuel to always do better and within the 2nd year of high school, both of you have gone into lots of competition and rivalry like relationship slowly grew more.

From trying to slit each other's throat, the two of you have now turned it into some kind of... flirting?

Whenever you would hit the bull's eye, Haechan would clap his hands slowly, his lower end of the bow rested on the ground, and the other between his shoulder and neck.

"Bet you were imagining my heart when you shot that," He smirked.

"Uh-huh, close, I was actually imagining your face." You gave him a wink.

"Aww, you'll make me blush."

Not only during club activities but whenever your group would eat or study together, you two would always throw petty flirts at each other. The others could clearly feel the romantic tension between you two and every time they would point it out, both of you would always scoff and say something contrary. But yeah, they're not falling for that bullshit.

In the second half of your last semester, you SOMEHOW managed to catch feelings for the boy. Both of you were practicing your shooting skills to get ready for a spring event. It was around noon when you trained on Saturday on school grounds. There were other people who participated in the competition, but they weren't as competitive as you two.

You finally set down your bow on your bow stand and took a sip of your water bottle as you watched Donghyuck pull the string. You were facing him and couldn't help but study his face. You have to admit, his face was actually attractive when he's not annoying. The weird thing about him doing archery is that he doesn't close either of his eyes. He finally pulled back his shoulder a little more and released his grip. His lips were pursed from the impact of the bowstring as he scored another bulls'eye. You let out a quiet sigh as you sat down on the grass, your chin on your left hand, and your water bottle on your right. 

"And that, my friend, is how you shoot your shot." He said, twirling around as he put his bow on the bow stand.

"Really? How come you don't have a girlfriend then?" You gave him a teasing smirk, his eyebrows twitched at your question.

"You talk big for someone who didn't even get a single bull's eye today," He scoffed, sitting down beside you as he looked at the target. 

"You bothered or something?" He asked, eyes on the wide green field.

As always, he's always spot on. But being the stubborn teenage you were, you brushed it off.

"I don't think so... just tired s'all." You sighed,
