Frisk POV
Chara and Frisk both grabbed their trays and fell in line with the line of students, who were waiting for their turn. When it was finally their turn, Frisk took a look at the food. So far they were all pretty much monster food, but they seem to resemble and remind her of human food too. She took the food which she thinks would taste good and headed out of the line. Then she turned to Chara excitedly. "So...where's that sweets station you said?" Chara rolled her eyes. She grabbed Frisk's hand and walked both of them to a station. Frisk looked at the sweets there. They seem to look yummy and they smell yummy too. Frisk reached out to take a sweet but someone grabbed her hand. Frisk looked up to see a spider girl. "Don't get too greedy little human. I've got treats for anyone but only for the right price." Frisk stared at her blankly. "I have to pay for sweets?" The spider nodded her head. Frisk then began to search into her pockets and her bag for money. She fished out the money. The spider then reached out to grab the money but stopped suddenly. A little spider was walking on the floor and someone was headed its way. Frisk gasped. She knew she had to do something to protect its life. She quickly ran, slid down the floor and caught the spider in her hands before it could get squished. She carefully placed it on the counter. "That's a close one. You spiders should really be careful." Frisk then looked up to see Muffet and Chara watching her. "No offense uhh..." "Muffet. Oh and thank you so much for saving my little friend back there. And those moves you did back there, they were incredible! Almost like you were a professional dancer." Frisk chuckled nervously. "I should probably do something for you in return. Hmm...Oh I know! You could have my sweets for free anytime." Frisk's eyes widened in surprise. "Are you sure? That's kind of a lot for saving a spider." Muffet shrugged. "It's alright. It's okay for anyone who saved my best friend." Then without another word Muffet handed Frisk one of her sweets. "Oh could my sister have one too for free?" Chara gave Frisk a no-way look. Muffet looked at Chara for a few seconds. "I don't know...we've had a few troubles in our past." "It's alright Frisk. I'm not hungry for sweets anyways. Let's just head to our lunch table." Then the two sisters both headed to one of the tables where Asriel was seated. After the siblings all greeted each other, Chara and Asriel began having a discussion of their own while Frisk ate the food she had. It tasted good! Probably better than human food. "I'm telling you Asriel mom and dad named you after both of their names," Frisk heard Chara said. "And how are you so sure about that?" "Umm...put mom and dad's names together and what will you get?" Asriel paused for a while to think about the answer. "Torgore?" Frisk burst out laughing when she heard that, same too with Asriel. As soon as their laughter died, Chara spoke."Well true but that's because you got it the wrong way. See, the first name is Asgore, aka dad and the second should be Toriel, mom." Chara let this sink through until Asriel's eyes widened as he finally realized what Chara meant. "Ooh! Okay I got it. But why did they name me like that?" "Probably because they ran out of names for you," Frisk said teasingly in a good way and they all laughed at that. A few minutes later, Frisk saw two people enter the cafeteria. One had blue colored skin and was tall while the other was short and had yellow colored skin. Frisk looked at them in awe. "Hey, if your staring at Undyne and Alphys that way, why don't you stare at other monsters the same way too," Chara said. Frisk looked at her. "So which one of them is Undyne?" She asked, ignoring Chara's sarcasm. "The tall one, the one that is blue. The smaller one is Alphys," Asriel replied. "Undyne's one of the best dancers in the school. She mostly stars in capoeria, and I gotta say, she's pretty great at it." "Huh, okay...what about Alphys?" "Oh well she's one of the smartest students in the school. She really loves science though it's hard for her to sometimes socialize with people," Chara said. "Hey! We're supposed to be telling her about the good stuff about them not their weaknesses Chara." Chara shrugged. "Well anyways, I wanna go and talk to them, they seem friendly. Plus, it can give me an opportunity to make more new friends." Frisk stood up from her table. "Wish me luck." "Yeah, you need it," Chara said. What does that mean? Probably Chara's one of Chara's little jokes. Frisk walked over to their lunch table, seeming that they had already got their food. Frisk took a deep breath. Hopefully everything goes out great. Frisk waved her hand in the air. "Hi, my name's Frisk." Alphys gave her a little wave. "H-hi Frisk." Undyne stared at her, as if she were her enemy. "So...your a human right?" Frisk started to feel nervous about this. Frisk slowly nodded her head. "Your like the eighth human that has studied here so far..." Frisk was surprise to hear this information. Eighth human? "Does this mean there are other humans that also study here besides from Chara?" "Y-you don't k-know?" Frisk shook her head. Alphys motioned for her to sit down with them and Frisk did, pulling the chair for her to sit. "So far...all the humans who had attended this school, they never did make it. They did studied for years but their hard work never paid off." "W-we're not sure why." "Oh," Frisk had only managed to say. Hopefully she won't have the same fate as those other humans. "A-all those humans who had attended this school each has their own u-unique soul, which h-helps them in their dancing." "So...you wanna be friends with us punk?" Frisk nodded her head. Alphys opened her mouth to say something but Undyne shushed her. Undyne bowed her head low. "You must probably be thinking that we would offer you our friendship that easily to you, like the ones in the movies where they'd be like 'hey wanna be friends' and they immediately accept the offer. But if you want to gain the friendship of me, Undyne and her great partner Alphys you have to be willing to do whatever it takes, cuz that's what best friends do right?" Frisk cocked her head in confusion. "What do you-" before she could say anything, Undyne ahd leapt off her chair and stood on top of their table. Alphys stared at Undyne admiringly while she ate her food silently. "Human! I challenge you to a dance fight!" She announced, loud enough for everyone on the cafeteria to hear. Frisk stared at her in shock. "W-What!?" Undyne nodded her head. "Yup you heard me right. And what better time to start the battle right here. After all, we still got a few more minutes." Frisk tried to think of an excuse for the dance fight to not continue. "Umm, can't we just settle in a more...peaceful and not...how do I say this, dancing way?" Undyne shook her head. "You must be mistaken! Your in a dance school, not like in those old boring non dance schools. Since your here, it's best to do this with a dance!" Frisk then tried to think of another excuse but Undyne was already stretching. "Are you ready human?" Frisk looked around her. All around there were monsters looking at her, waiting to see what she would do. Frisk's breathing began to grow fast, though it seemed as if no one noticed. They were all too fascinated to see what kind of dance moves Undyne would do to defeat Frisk. Frisk felt scared. She didn't like it when people were going to watch her. And even if worse if she made a mistake she would be a laughing stock in school! Before Undyne could do her dance move, the bell rang. Frisk breathed a huge sigh of relief and her fear melted away. Undyne frowned. "Man! We were all going to have a blast...until that bell rang. Screw the bell!" Alphys laughed nervously. Apparently while they were both preparing to battle, Alphys had got both hers and Undyne's trays and had returned it to the tray return. That was really sweet of her to do that, Frisk thought. "U-Undyne. Why don't we just try my way of friendship? You know since we weren't able to finish the battle." Frisk nodded her head immediately. "Okay fine. Wish I could join you but I'm not in the same class with you." Frisk had got out her class schedule from her bag and showed it to them. "W-well, it looks like your in the same class with me. I guess, I'm g-going to have to show you the way and...also give you a challenge." They both waved goodbye to Undyne and they started to walk to class. On their way there, they had to pass the audio room where they make announcements and where the bell was rung. As they both passed there, Frisk thought she saw a faint blue light. What? That can't be. She blinked her eyes and when she opened them the light was gone. I must've been seeing things. It must be because I got very scared. "Frisk." "Coming," Frisk called and she followed Alphys to her next class.
