Rose's POV

The Head of the security department followed Alix who was still carrying Rose through the backstage corridors of the theatre, at one point, she got out of the building, before opening the trunk of a black Mercedes and throwing Rose's body inside the trunk. At that point, I was scared that she was dead and that Alix was disposing of her body.

Right at this moment, my phone rang. It was a text, Alix. I opened it, it was a video. The Head of Security asked if he could take my phone and plug it on the computers, I nodded and soon afterward, the video was played.

VIDEO

The video began with a completely black screen. A second later, Alix's face appeared on the screens.

"Hello darling, I see you had no trouble replacing me. I thought that you loved me above and beyond. I was wrong. Anyways, if you want to see your whore alive, I suggest you listen very carefully to me and not try doing anything stupid. First, you will let me have custody of our children. Then, you will dump her, I will not be ridiculed by you showing off your whore and dumping me like I'm yesterday's trash. If you do not agree... well let's just say good luck to you to find her body; and if you do... good luck recognising it." She said

"DON'T DO ANYTHING SHE TELLS YOU ALAN. I LOVE YOU ALAN, BUT I DON'T WANT YOU TO BE UNHAPPY FOR ME. I LOVE YOU." A voice that I immediately recognized as Rose's scram in the background.

"SHUT UP BITCH," Alix said, standing up before disappearing from the screens.

The sound of flesh hitting flesh filled the room before a broken cry could be heard. A second later Alix was back sitting on the screen.

"Where was I?... Ah, yes. You have 30 minutes to agree to my terms. If you do. I will release your whore. You have received an e-mail with a contract. Sign the contract and send it back to me in 30 minutes and she's free." She finished her little speech by a sort of sadistic smile before switching the camera off.

END OF VIDEO

I was completely devastated. My brain was telling me to sign the goddamn contract and let her have whatever she wanted to insure Rose's safety, while my heart was telling me to not sign the damn contract and try and find where Rose was.

Suddenly, the door of the control room opened and Emma, came in, carrying in her arms a sleeping Jane.

"Alan, is everything alright?" She whispered taking in the surrounding.

"Yes... I don't know... No. Nothing is alright. It's Rose, Alix has taken her, she's asking for Jane's and Sacha's custody and that I leave Rose if I want to see her alive. I don't know what to do Emma." I sobbed as quietly as possible in order not to wake Jane up.

"Alan, we must call the police. They would know what to do." Emma suggested, sitting on a chair a security guy had pulled up for her.

"Miss Watson, we don't have the time. She left Mr. Rickman 30 minutes to comply with her request. If he doesn't, she menaced to kill Miss Addington. I can try to pinpoint the location from where the video is coming from, but I cannot promise you anything at all." The head of security proposed to us.

"Try and locate her position. If in twenty-five minutes we haven't got Rose I'll sign the contract. I don't want to endanger Rose's life, she hasn't done anything to deserve this. I am responsible for her predicament and I must do everything I can to assure her safety." I said, watching the head of security tapping furiously on his computer.

The atmosphere in the security headquarters was tensed. I couldn't keep myself from looking at the small office clock in the corner of the room, praying whatever deities that would listen to me that we would manage to find Rose in time. At one point, Emma had brought Jane to a couch in the back of the room and laid her there, tucking her in with her coat.

"We've got her. The video is coming from the Tate. I think they are there in a reserve or something like that." A security guard exclaimed pointing to the card.

Everything clicked in my mind. I had met Alix at the Tate; we had bumped into each other and had begun to speak. A few days later we had gone on a date and two years later we married. It was an important place for our relationship and I know hated to go there, but I was ready to do anything for Rose. There was still fifteen minutes left for us to find Rose and I was beginning to gain hope.

"Let's go. We don't have a single minute to lose." One of the security guards said grabbing a walkie-talky.

"I'll call the police; they'll meet us there." Another one said grabbing his phone.

"Go with them, Alan. I'll watch over Jane. You focus on getting Rose back." Emma said looking grabbing the sleeve of my jacket.

"Thanks a lot, Emma, I owe you one," I said. "I'm sorry to ask, but could you bring her back home. Ask Lloyd to take you. He'll bring you back home once I'm back." I pleaded.

"No problem Alan. I'll take care of her. Go now. I'll wait for you at your place." Emma said smiling at me while pushing me towards the exit.

I thanked her profusely and followed the security guard to the basement of the theatre. There, he opened a car and I immediately jumped in the front seat beside him, buckling my seatbelt. He took a small police beacon and placed it on the dashboard.

"Hang on tight Mr. Rickman." He said before starting the engine and getting out of the garage.

The drive through London's street was hectic, but thanks to the buzzer and beacon, we managed to escape much of the traffic and in five minutes we were in front of the Tate. The police were already there, along with some first help vehicles. Everyone was ready to enter the building. One of the policemen greeted me and told me to stay behind while they were looking for Rose. I received a text from Emma. She was in the car and Jane had not woken up and was still out as a light.

As I pocketed my phone, I saw three persons rush out of one of the ambulances with a gurney. Three policemen came out of the building, they had Alix, but I couldn't see Rose. Alix was handcuffed and whisked into a police car and brought to the nearest police station. The only thing on my mind was Rose.

I tried to get information, but everyone told me they had nothing and would come back to me as soon as possible. Suddenly the medics who had entered the building came out. There was someone on the gurney.
