"And even if that person lowered his eyes, his silence says it all. There's nothing better than silence, it says it all." Toni said leaning in

Cheryl placed her hand on Toni's cheek and looked at her lips, She leaned in and taking the brunette's lips in a soft kiss, both feeling the passion, Toni stood up from her chair not bothering to break the kiss and stood in front of Cheryl as she deepened the kiss. The redhead pulled away after a few minutes, both breathless.

"Toni." Cheryl whispered softly, coming to her senses.

"If you are going to apologize, please don't. I wanted this to happen also." Toni replied softly.

"I-I have to go back to my room," The redhead said nervously.

"Wait, let me pay the tab and we'll go back together. Please, Cheryl." The newspaper owner said softly. "Please."

Cheryl nodded and bit her lip. Toni paid the tab and escorted the redhead out of the bar, the couple said nothing as they made their way back to their rooms, Toni kept glancing at the redhead who had her hand on her lip and staring out of the window. The newspaper owner dropped Cheryl at her room and bid her goodnight. As soon as the door room closed, the redhead rested her head on the door.

What did I do? I kissed her, I'm married! She's married! Reggie, Oh my God what will I do with him? She thought as she paced the room. Her phone rang, signaling that Reggie was calling her. She panicked and turned her phone off, What am I going to do? I can't help but fall in love with her. She thought as she rested her head on the pillow and allowed sleep to take over.

The next morning, she woke up early, she barely slept, all she could dream about was Toni. She took a shower and wrapped her bathrobe around her body and took a deep breath, she dialed Reggie's phone number, waiting for him to pick up.

"Hey, bab- Uh, Regg."

"Are you stupid or out of your mind? Didn't you see how many times I called you last night?" Reggie yelled into the phone

"I saw them," She said getting nervous.

"HOW MANY?" He asked angrily.

Cheryl gulped. "37 times."

"Where were you?"

"I wanted to tell you something"

"Where have you been Chloe, I've been worried sick!"

"Reggie, please stop yelling. Stop! Why every time I want to talk to you about something you start yelling? Why when I need you beside me, you aren't there,"

"Do you want to know why the FUCK I am yelling? Look at your fucking phone you'll know why I'm yelling. Where were you all night!"

"I was asleep!"

"ASLEEP?" Reggie asked yelling, "WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME BEFORE YOU SLEPT?"

"I just fell asleep, I was supposed to take a nap and I slept accidentally, till now, I just woke up."

Reggie scoffed, "You just woke up!? I thought you had a dinner to attend to!"

"I didn't go,"

"You know what, we'll talk later," He said angrily.

"Fine," She said hanging up and throwing the phone onto the bed.

Toni didn't sleep all night, she knew why Cheryl freaked out, she understands her reasons perfectly, she was just hoping that it wouldn't change things between them, suddenly her room phone rang, she sighed and picked it up. "Hello?"
