It was Monday morning and two days have passed since the incident with Diane, Cheryl and the boys were settled in Toni's house, the short brunette had ordered new rooms for everyone knowing that they needed the change. Norah was still having a hard time with everything that has happened and she was growing nervous as the court date was getting closer, but Cheryl and Toni kept her grounded. Noah and his sister were getting ready for school as well as the two little boys.

In the kitchen, the redhead was preparing breakfast and coffee while Toni was still in bed. The redhead smiled when she saw the kids making their way down. "Good morning you guys."

"Good morning," They all mumbled in unison.

Cheryl giggled. "Here, sober up. You guys need to get going soon."

"Where's Toni?" Lucas asked as he drank his orange juice.

"I am going to check up on her right now, finish up your plates," Cheryl said gently as she made her way to the bedroom. She opened the door and smiled when she saw Toni on her stomach in the middle of the bed as her body was tangled in the blankets. The redhead climbed on top of her love and kissed her shoulders. "Wake up baby," She said softly. "Come on baby, open your eyes."

Toni slowly stirred from her sleep and opened her eyes to find the brightest blue eyes looking at her. "Good morning," She said raspily.

"Morning honey," Cheryl said sweetly. "Do you have anything planned for the day?"

Toni shook her head. "I might start on some writing, you got that meeting today with Reggie and his lawyer right?"

The redhead nodded, "I am going to drop the kids and go,"

"Okay love, will you tell me how it goes?"

"Of course, I have to get going, I love you," She said dropping a final kiss on Toni's lips and making her way downstairs to the kids.

Cheryl entered the lawyer's office and waited for her name to be called. A few minutes later, Reggie entered the office, he stopped and looked at Cheryl who was busy on her phone. "H-Hey,"

The redhead looked at him and she could see that he was tired. "Reggie, hey." She replied. "Y-You look tired. Are you okay?"

The man nodded, "I'm fine, h-how have you been?" He said taking a seat beside her. "How are the kids? I apologize for not seeing them but I was busy."

"The kids are okay, they are at school."

"You look happier," he stated. "Was I really making you unhappy?"

Cheryl sighed. "At first we were happy, but as the years passed we both changed and focused on other things."

"Y-Your mother contacted me,"

"What did she want?"

"She told me to not file the divorce and try and fix things between us."

The redhead shook her head. "What did you say to her?"

"I told her that things were over for a long time now. And I don't think after what happened between us that we can ever be together."

But before the redhead can reply, their names were called to enter the lawyer's office. They both took a seat in front of the lawyer who was pulling out papers. "Mrs. Cheryl , Mr. Reggie . I have to ask before I give you the papers to sign. Are you both sure that you want his?"

The ex-couple looked at each other and sighed as they nodded. The lawyer gave them a polite smile and gave Reggie the papers. "You can read it and tell me if it needs any adjustments."
