"W-What? Cheryl please,"

"Toni, please take me home."

"Can we just talk about it?"

Cheryl stood up and just left the brunette alone at the table, the redhead started walking along the sidewalk trying to wrap her head around everything Toni told her. The newspaper owner ran behind her in attempt to stop her. "CHERYL!" She said standing in front of her. "Will you stop for a moment and talk to me?"

"There's nothing to talk about."

"What do you mean there's nothing to talk about? Cheryl please," The brunette pleaded. "I did what I did because I love you. I needed you to be beside me. I know I might have ruined your marriage but you are happier now. You weren't happy with him!"

"So you decide to lie to me?" Cheryl said in a broken voice. "Why didn't you tell me this when we were in London? Why did you have to wait all this time? You wanted to ruin my marriage before you got me?" She asked with confusion and hurt in her voice. "I wouldn't have left you, I can't-do it because my life revolves around you Toni! I loved you from the moment I saw you in the bookshop, I kept thinking if I might see you again. But I never, I never would have thought that you'd be the reason that I am back in New York."

"I didn't mean to lie to you, I wanted to tell you everything. I just never found the perfect moment. Cheryl please just calm down. I did what I did because I couldn't live without you anymore," Toni said as she wiped Cheryl's tears. "Baby, please. I'm sorry, don't break up with me, please. I love you. You are my life and I can't imagine my life with you, not in it. You have to understand why I did it."

"Why did you do it?"

"Because from the moment I saw you I fell in love with you, with the way you look, the way you talk. Cheryl baby, I promise I didn't want to ruin your life, I brought you back to New York to have you beside me even if you didn't want me in your life. Even if it killed me to see you with him I wouldn't have said anything or implied that I loved you back then. You know our story, you know why I did this."

The redhead took a deep breath and looked into her lover's eyes. "What you did really shocked me, but I'm not breaking up with you I can't-do it even if I wanted to,"

"You aren't mad at me?"

"I am a little bit, but I'll be fine."

Toni sighed and nodded. "Let's walk to the car." She said in a sad voice. They walked back in silence, a million thoughts rushing through their mind. As soon as they got in the car, the redhead stared out of the window. I would have done the same if the roles were reversed, even though she didn't tell me right away but at least she came clean. She thought as she looked at Toni who had tears. "I want you to know that I am not mad at you Toni, I would have done the same. I am shocked and I'm sorry I ruined dinner."

"Don't apologize," The brunette said sighing. "But before we go home can we go to a place first?"

"What place?"

"The park, there are a couple of things I want to discuss with you. And I don't want to go home just now."

Cheryl nodded and laced their fingers together. "I'm sorry,"

"What are you sorry for baby?"

"B-Because I ruined your mood."

Toni smiled and kissed the back of the redhead's hand. "I love you." She said softly as she parked the car. "Let's take a walk."
