Dear Mom & Dad,
There is something that I've been wanting to tell you for a while now, but I've never really had the confidence to until now. I'm a lesbian. I know that you're going to say that I'm "too young to know", but I'm old enough to know that I don't like boys at all. I have no interest in ever being with a boy, I'd much rather be with a girl. That's why I've been getting so uncomfortable when you guys talk about random guys being my "boyfriend". I know it's just a joke but it kind of made me feel bad. I've been telling some of my friends at school about it and I thought that it'd be unfair not to tell you too. Thank you for reading this, I hope you accept me and love me the way I am.
