Part 5 - Paintball

You and Noah ran down the field, hand in hand. Nicole waved and callie looked at us and smiled. Chloe didn't say anything and looked at us up and down as we approached.
Noah smiled at callie and Nicole.
"Sorry were late, just finishing putting on gear that's all"
Callie smirked and looked at Nicole, she whispered loudly "I ship itttt"
They both giggled and they looked down at our hands.
Chloe rolled and walked away and while she walked away she mumbled
"Noah gets all the girls (😌🖖🏻)"
Me and Noah quickly moved our hands away.
Noah chuckled and swung his paint gun off his back and grips it with his hands.
"You guys ready or what?" Noah said with excitement.
"Duhhh, I'm gonna best all of you guys" Nicole said proudly.
"Watch me bear all you guys down in one second" Callie said and smirked.
"Bet"
"$5"
"It's on."
You laughed and smiled.
"Well I'm not betting anything, I've never done it before and I'm possibly gonna fail." You said sadly, but you were still excited.
"I'm sure you'll do great, I can teac-"
*idk what the sound of a whistle is 😛*
Noah got cut off by the sound of a whistle from the coach.
You all looked up at him and he explained the rules.
Noah didn't pay attention. He didn't need to pay attention, he's done this too many times and had a good chance of winning.
He was admiring you.
Your cheeks that flowed or crimson naturally.
Your freckles, that sprinkled all over your slightly tan face. Your chocolate brown eyes (idk whatever color eyes or description you want I'm just going with this for now lmAo)
That you could get lost in forever.
Noah thought you were perfect, but was too good to admit it.
He couldn't tell you, what if it got spread. It would be all over the internet.
He trusts you, but there are still consequences.
Besides, you guys have only been friends for a day now.
But he can't get the thought of you out of his head.
Your an angel, sent fro-
"Noah? You okay?" You said as you shook him and looked at him, slightly worried.
Noah looked over at you and snapped out of his thoughts.
"I-I'm fine, sorry I was uh- thinking."
He smiled and scratched his head.
"Well lets get going, our teams over there From what I heard. And I have a good idea and I feel like I may have a good chance at winning...maybe beating you." She smirked.
Noah chuckled.
"Well you cant beat me first of all, I'm on your team-"
"Well the final four get to go against each other"
"What makes you think you can get in the final four" Noah smirked at you.
You shrug.
"I think I can get good at it, who knows!"
You jog off to your team and Noah runs after you.
"Slow poke!"
"Hey! Wait up!"

This was it. It was starting.

You smiled back and looked up at the other teams, already ready to sprint away.

The coach blew the whistle loudly and everyone dashed off into the field.
Paint started flying everywhere.
Your heart jumped into your throat but you kept sprinting your way down the field.
You ducked paintballs and almost got hit by two.
You ducked behind a big rock.
"Where the hell is noah?" You thought.
You peaked across the big rock and looked around for Noah.
You spotted him dashing off and shooting anyone he spotted.
There wasn't a single spot of paint on him. Surprisingly.
The line of people who were out was already started to fill up.
You spotted some people that weren't on your team and shot them down.
You were suprised you hadn't gotten shot yet and you even had good aim.
Noah soon sprinted over to your rock and ducked down next to you.
There was droplets of sweat all over his forehead and he was breathing heavily.
He smiled weakly.
"Hey! How you doing so far?" Noah yelled over the chaos.
There weren't that many people left.
"I'm alright!" You said and smiled softly.
You and Noah got lost into conversation until you realized you were one of the final two left in.
Noah looked at you and wished you good luck.
You did the same and went up to the field.
You noticed both callie and Nicole were out.
They were bickering in line, probably about the bet they made. The person behind them seem irritated. She had clown makeup on. Odd. (I'm sorry I can't take myself seriously 🗿)
You, Noah and another girl and boy stepped up to the field
The coach explained the final round and oh were listening.
You noticed the girl eyeing your from afar. You didn't know what to think about it and you raised an eyebrow at her. She gave you a look and looked away.
Noah noticed and frowned, with a bit of anger in his eyes.
The coach blew his whistle and you immediately ducked behind a rock. You heard a couple of paintguns go off and you peeled behind the rock.
Shit.
Noah has a paintball on his shirt. He smiled and jogged out of the field to the line. He met up with Noah and callie and he was laughing with them, discussing how fun it was.
You realized you were still in the final round and you snapped out of it.
You looked around and saw the other girl peaked behind the rock. The other guy seemed to be shot down.
You grabbed her gun and aimed it at her.
"This is my chance!" You thought quickly.
Unfortunately she immediately spotted you and grabbed her gun and before you know it. Shot your gun.
She sighed and rolled her eyes.
You were confused and thought "ain't I out?"
The Coach yelled "NO HITTING ON GUNS"
You smiled and pumped your fist in achievement.
You stayed low and you quickly switched to another boulder without the girl seeing.
The girl kept looking around and trying to find you but stay out of sight. She got frustrated and growled.
You smirked a bit and could slightly see her from the other rock.
You aimed your gun, and shot as Quickly ad you could and ducked down.
It hit the rock.
"Shit!"
The girl looked around and peeked.
You were too busy hiding to notice her see you.
Noah was silently cheering you on.
"Cmon y/n, grab your gun dammit!" Noah thought to himself.
Callie and Nicole were cheering you on.
Why weren't they cheering on the other girl, did they not like the other girl?
The girl grabbed her gun and aimed it at you as best as she can.
