Part 18 - caught.

"Hey! You two! Hands off!"

You knew you were gonna get caught but you were still embarrassed.
Your bare feet grazed the grass as you ran as fast as you could.
You shivered as the cold wind hit your wet skin.
Noah ran in front of you, he was a bit faster but you were able to still catch up.
You both ran into the cabin and shut the door.
You felt the warm air hit you and you dropped your towel on the cool floor.
You bended down and relaxed your weight on you knees and caught your breath.
Noah seemed pooped and he flopped on the bed.
You had no idea why you ran. It's just because Noah ran, so you did too. it's not like you were in big trouble.
Right?
You dried your self off with a dry towel from the bathroom and Noah did the same.
You sat next to him.
You still felt the same hype and heat from the hot tub with Noah and you couldn't get over it.
Noah scrubbed his hair with his towel and messed up his hair.
He still looked good either way.
You pulled your damp hair into a ponytail and you lied back on the bed and looked at the bottom of the top bunk.
Noah did the same and closed his eyes.
There was silence for a while.

Quiet.

Noah broke the silence
"That was fun"

"It wasn't to me." You replied. You didn't like running and it never was your thing.

"I didn't mean the running."

"Oh. Well yeah, it was."

Noah nodded in response and it went quiet again.

You sat up and looked at noah.
"I wanna know more about you"

"What?"

"Like, what do you do outside of camp?"

"Oh." Noah sat up next to you.

"Well you know I do acting and stuff."

Noah pulled out his suitcase from under the bed and zipped it open.
He barely had any clothes. They looked expensive but everything looked the same.
He has lots of shoes though.

He opened up another zipper and pulled out his phone.
He hopped back on the bed next to you and opened up his phone.
You leaned your head across to his shoulder and looked back at his phone.
He opened his photo and showed you photos from shooting season 3 of stranger things.

"Who's that?" You pointed at the Burnette.
You never watched stranger things before. You didn't watch Tv that much since you spent more time with you mom and others and didn't have time for it since you were finishing up your sophomore year.

"Oh that's millie. She played eleven"

You nodded in response as Noah scrolled through more photos.
Most of them were him with Millie but he still had more with others.
You didn't say anything even though you were secretly jealous.

It's what you hated about yourself most.

You leaned on the pillow and played with your swimsuit top.

"So, now that I've told you about my outside life, what do you do outside of camp?" Noah asked.

You felt a bitch startled by the sudden question but you still knew it was gonna come soon enough.
