Part two - Arrived

I stepped out of the small van and moved my hands in my face, protecting my face from the sun.

I've been an only child for my whole life and I haven't minded it but it does always get a bit lonely. My mom got divorced with my dad when I was extremely young and my mom has been a single mother ever since. Whenever I visited my father he would tell me horrible things about my mom. Little did I know most of them were lies. I didn't trust him, he drank often when I was around and it hurt me to realize I didn't and probably would never have a father figure in my life. I have a chance since I could get a step dad but there's not way in a million years my mom would consider finding someone new and moving on.
I tucked my earbuds and phone into my jean pockets and went over to the trunk. I opened it and pulled my backpack and slung it over my shoulder and grabbed my suitcase. My mom got out of the car and grabbed her purse.
*TIME SKIP AFTER THEY REGISTER AND BLAH BLAH BLAH*
I said goodbye to my mom and walked into my cabin. Mainly all I heard was talking and chattering from all the other girls in the room. A couple of girls looked at me but continued there chit chatting. I walked over to my bed and slumped down on it, shoving my bags under the bunk bed. I looked up and saw a girl on the top bunk, chatting to another girl across the room. The girl she was talking to came over and the girl on the top bunk came down and went over to the girl.
Blonde hair girl: this is gonna be so exciting! Im excited to be able to meet some new people!
Brown hair girl; yeah! And Noah's gonna be here too..right?
Blonde hair girl; yeah of course! He texted me this morning before I left!
Brown hair girl: oh..o-okay!
One of the girls looked at you and smiled
Blonde hair girl: Hey! You must be Y/N?
You nod and smile a bit.
"Yep that's me"
Blonde hair girl: O-oh let me introduce myself, I'm nicole
She turned and looked at the other girl
"And this is callie!"
Callie waved and smiles softly
"H-hi!"
You smiled softly and looked at each other the smiling girls
Callie had light brown hair with hazel eyes
Her hair was long but a little short and she was petite. She wore a camp echo lake shirt (name of the camp) and she had the shirt tucked into jean shorts with decorated jean pockets. Her smile was soft and she had calming aura.
Nicole had long blonde hair with jungle eyes that you could look into forever. Her hair was kept down. She wore the same outfit as callie but her pockets weren't decorated. She had a bright smile, great posture, and a quirky aura. She seemed powerful.
I stood up and callie immediately pulled me into a hug. I hesitated at first but I immediately hugged back because why not honestly, she seemed sweet? She held me for a little until she finally let go.
"Sorry..I do that a lot"
She chuckled softly and backed away back to nicole.
Suddenly you hear more chattering and footsteps. You turn around to see many boys filling the field outside. There's a mix of girls soon after.
"Oh! Looks like the boys finally came out!" She smiled and ran out the door.
"Come on callie and y/n!" Nicole yelled as she ran to the field.
The girls in the cabin soon piled out.
"Coming!" Callie said softly as she skipped out the cabin behind all the girls. She stopped at the door and looked at me.
"Coming y/n?" She said, raising an eyebrow.
"Y-Yep!" I mumbled and I ran over to her.
She took my hand and smiled and we skipped over to the field.
