The day was winding down to an end, the discussion was still flowing, everyone continues to bond and laugh over stories. Jacob sitting by Jasmine's side, with his arm over her shoulder, continuing to give Jasmine the comfort that she needs after the revelation of her parent's death.
Soon enough, everyone started to go home the pack feeling a sense of fulfillment after talking with Jasmine. They felt as though they could trust her, even though they had known her for a very little amount of time. Once everyone had left, it was just Jake up and Jasmine at the beach.
The silence was deafening, Jacob kept looking towards Jasmine, but Jasmine towards the ocean. Jasmine looked as she was deep in thought, but Jake up was desperate to get to know Jasmine. Jacob wants to get to know Jasmine and away to the rest of the pack or not now so that they would form a bond.
"Jasmine, do you just want to have a talk?" Jake up asked. As Jake up was asking this question, Jasmine turned her head to look at them.
"I just want to get to know you better," Jacob added on.
All she could see in his eyes what's the willingness to learn more about Jasmine. Something that not a lot of people in her life are done. Jasmine had decided to take the risk, to open up to Jacob.
"Jacob, now I'm going to give you a full rundown on everything that is Jasmine Uley," Jasmine said with a giggle.
"Not right now though. It's late," Jasmine finished. Jacob deflated at that. He wanted to get to know her. Jasmine stood up and started to walk back home, and Jacob followed her.
"Anyway, my graduation is in two days. Do you want to come?" Jacob asked. He added on,
"You can watch the group graduate together, you don't have to come just for me," Jacob said.
Jasmine thought about as they were walking in silence. Once again, Jacob did not notice that there were plants growing around Jasmine, his sole focus was on Jasmine's response or lack of. Jacob was desperate for an answer from Jasmine.
"Sure, I would love to come," Jasmine said. By the time she gave her answer, they had already reached Sam's house. They could hear the pack making loud noises for food from Emily.
"Though, you didn't have to involve everyone else. I would've gone just for you," Jasmine said with a smile.
Jacob smiled back at the girl, happy that he was finally getting close to what he wanted.
"Anyway, I should get to Sam's house," Jasmine said.
"Yeah, so I'll see you at graduation?" Jacob questioned. Jasmine nodded as an answer.
Though, before she left, she reached upwards towards Jacob's cheek and gave him a tentative kiss. Rushing to Sam's house in a hurry, leaving Jacob to hold on to his cheek with a small blush blooming on his face. He, somehow, being surrounded by small flowers, which would later grow into a patch of red roses.
