The pack had no luck in stopping Damon from reigning his terror on their territory. Two weeks had already passed, and Jasmine could no longer see the people that she had considered to be her family to feel so dejected.
Thus, with this in mind, Jasmine had come up with a plan, to end Damon's vendetta against the pack, and to protect them at the same time. She was going to sacrifice herself to him, without telling anyone about her actions, except for her nana Rose.
That was what she had set out to do, thus, Jasmine had called her nana, waiting for her to answer.
"Hello dear, I was expecting you to call sooner. It's been a while since we have spoken," Nana Rose stated across the phone. Jasmine tried to keep herself composed and replied with,
"Sorry nana, a lot has been going on around here," Jasmine replied.
"So what is it dear?" nana Rose said. Jasmine sighed and stated,
"Nana Rose, the man who killed my parents is here, in La Push," Jasmine stated. She could hear her nana Rose gasp through the phone in shock and fear.
"Honey, you need to get out of there," nana Rose replied with worry laced in her tone.
"Nana, he wants me dead. He won't stop no matter how far I run," Jasmin replied. That was when small sniffles came out of her, knowing that this could be the last time that she spoke to her nana Rose.
"Anyway, I know what I need to do," Jasmine said.
"Hon, don't do anything dumb," nana Rose said across the phone.
"Nana, it's the only way to assure that everyone that I love will be safe," Jasmine replied. She could hear that her nana Rose was about to protest to what she had said and then she spoke again,
"If something bad does happen to me, which I am sure it will, I need you to come to La Push and tell everyone why I did what I did," Jasmine started. She had already started to choke up in tears, not knowing how to say goodbye to the family that she now had.
"I need you to go speak to someone named Jacob black. I need you to tell him why I did this. I need you to tell him that I love him. Even if I didn't say it, I will always love him," Jasmine said. She had already begun to sob in the phone, knowing that her outcome was already set in stone.
"Honey, you can tell him that yourself. Please don't do it, I still need you in my life. And I know that this Jacob Black also needs you," nana Rose replied. She was also sobbing through the phone. Though her words were in vain because Jasmine had ended the call, falling to the ground in a sobbing mess, her decision still being finalized. Jasmine knew what her outcome would be, it was set in stone.
Though, she would do it all over again if it meant that the people she loved were safe.
