"Emily, I think that I have a major crush on Jacob Black," Jasmine said as she sat on the counter, watching Emily cook. The kiss had happened almost a week ago.
Emily glanced over at Jasmine, looking at her with curiosity. Emily had no idea as to how Jasmine could've come to this outcome, though she had known of how Jacob had imprinted on Jasmine. When Emily saw Jasmine, she saw how her face lit up when she spoke of Jacob just a moment ago, and that made Emily think that maybe she looks like this when she was around Sam. She shook her head and her thoughts, and paid more attention to what Jasmine was saying.
"And how did you come to this realization?" Emily asked with curiosity and a bit of humor in her voice, not knowing how serious Jasmine was. Emily continued to cook, not knowing how shocking Jasmine's next words were going to be.
"Well, Emily the way that I came to this is that, and you have to keep this a secret, Jacob and I kissed almost a week ago," Jasmine said, ending what she was way saying softly.
Emily moved ahead quickly to see Jasmine's face, and she thought Jasmin was looking down and blushing. Once the news had been out, and Emily realized that what Jasmine was saying was true, she squealed in excitement rushing as she sat right next to Jasmine.
"Why didn't you tell me this?!" Emily said, and excitement. She was happy that Jasmine was finally finding someone who she cared about, and the guy cared about her even more back.
"Well, I ran away after we kissed. Also, I didn't know what it meant until this moment," Jasmine replied.
"Well! How was the kiss?!" Emily asked. To Jasmine, it seemed as though Emily was more excited for this kiss than Jasmine was. Though, she knew that was not true since that was how she felt when they first kissed, pure excitement.
"It was amazing, too amazing to be real. It felt as though everything was right in the world at that moment, and I was letting myself fall into this feeling of overwhealming comfort and love," Jasmine said. Emily glanced at Jasmine, hearing Jasmien say the word love, but choosing not to comment on her word choice, keeping the focus on the kiss.
"So, where does this leave you and Jacob?" Emily asked. She knew that Jacob would come by soon and that the imprint was going to take its course, pushing Jasmine and Jacob together.
"I want to try with him. He is the first guy here who I trust, and I love that I kissed him," Jasmine finished. The word love was said again, Emily thought to herself. She then realized that was Jasmine was feeling was true and pure love. Even though jasmine did not know that yet.
"Well I'm happy for you," Emily said. With that, the discussion was finished, and Jasmine spoke again,
"I'm going to go outside and work on making a garden," Jasmine said. Emily looked at her and spoke,
"I don't know how long that will last, based on the behavior of the group," Emily joked. They both laughed, and then they got to do their own activities.
