"Come on Sam, the pack wants to talk with Jasmine," Emily said. Interrupting Sam and Jasmine's embrace. Sam and Jasmine sighed, knowing that this was important. They both went outside, and Jacob had lost his breath when he saw Jasmine.

It was as if he was seeing her for the first time, he had missed her more than he would ever admit to anyone else. He needed her more than anything, and he now knew what true agony felt like, it was a life without her. He never wanted to feel that way again, that feeling of emptiness that only Jasmine can omit from Jacob.

"Sam, tell me everything. I know I didn't hear you all out at that time, but now I am ready to hear what you are willing to say," Jasmine spoke.

"Jasmine, what Billy had said during the bonfire, it was all true," Sam started. Paul interrupted,

"We're shapeshifters, we're wolves," Pual spoke proudly. Everyone looked at Paul in anger, knowing that this needed to be handled in a delicate matter.

"Then, what are the cold ones?" Jasmine asked. The wolves had all tensed at the mention of their natural enemy.

"Their leeches, vampires," Jacob finished. Everyone could finally notice Jasmine's shaky breaths and the flowers growing at her feet, due to her feeling of nervousness.

"There's also imprinting," Jared spoke out. Jacob glared at Jared for mentioning that, and Jared did not realize his mistake until he saw Jacob's glare.

"What's imprinting, and is that all I need to know?" Jasmine asked. The pack all glanced at Jacob, knowing that there was one more topic that had to be discussed. Though, it could only be discussed between Jacob and Jasmine.

"Why don't we give Jasmine and Jacob some space to talk," Emily said. Emily gestured towards the inside of the house, somewhat forcing the pack to give Jacob and Jasmine their space.

"So, what was that about?" Jasmine asked nervously. Jacob was also nervous, wanting to have this discussion as fast as possible.

"There's this thing, it's called imprinting, as Jared had said," Jacob started. His breath pausing in nervousness, he knew that what he was about to say was going to change his relationship with Jasmine for better or for worse.

"It's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like...gravity moves," Jacob paused and Jasmine connected that he had already imprinted on someone. That caused her heart to drop, not thinking of the possibility that it could be her.

"When you see her, suddenly it's not the earth holding you here anymore. She does. And nothing matters more than her. And you would do anything for her, be anything for her... You become whatever she needs you to be, whether that's a protector, or a lover, or a friend, or a brother," Jacob finished.

"You speak about it as though you have experienced it," Jasmine said with sadness in her tone.

"Well, at first it was just Sam's thoughts that gave me the information on imprinting, my dad had also told me about it. Then, I felt it for myself," Jacob said.

"And it was the most amazing feeling. I will admit, I thought that I was in love with another girl before I imprinted, but she was no longer in my thoughts the second I met my imprint. The girl that I imprinted on is amazing, and I could not ask for anyone better than her," Jacob finished. Jasmine did not know how much longer she could take Jacob gushing over his imprint, and she looked down in heartbreak.

"The best part is, that she is sitting right across from me," Jacob added on. That caused Jasmine's head to shoot up, and when she looked at Jacob, all she saw was pure honesty, and at that moment, Jasmine could not be happier.

"I care about you too Jacob," Jasmine uttered. Jacob beamed at Jasmine, and they had once again kissed. It felt like heaven to both Jacob and Jasmine, and their kiss was cut off by cheers from the pack. When Jasmine looked at the pack, Billy Black was also there, cheering with the rest of the wolves.

"Now, Jasmine Uley, I think that there is something else that we need to talk about," Billy stated.
