Parking my motorcycle a couple of streets away from the fighting bar is always a good idea. At this bar you can create enemies and it's not like you would want them to follow you. Today I felt like I was being followed for some reason, so I don't want to have to be followed any further. I slide off my bike and shove the set of keys into my jacket pocket, keeping my helmet secure by putting it under the seat. I start to walk towards the bar but someone calls my name, causing me to turn around.

"Aye! Meryn!"

I smile a big smile when I see who it is. Justin. Me and him go way back, we started a group called the Pythons, which is more like a gang than anything now. I will get into detail about that later.

"Hey Justin!" I shout back, stopping so that he can catch up with me.

"Where you off to?" He wonders as he reaches me.

"The fighting bar, you?"

"Same. I'm meeting Chloe and Sam there," He says.

"Awesome," I smile, "The gang hasn't really hung out much lately."

"Yeah, I think it's because of Fred," He says. Fred is another member of our gang and he is a close cousin to Justin. He has been in the hospital recently because he had gotten into a car accident, this meant that the gang had to stop with their activities until he shows signs of waking up. He's in a coma.

"Yeah, we can't blame him though. He wasn't the drunk driver," I say, turning the corner.

"Yeah. So, what are you doing at the bar?" He asks, changing the topic thankfully.

"Probably have a few drinks and fight a few people. I need to get my mind off some things," I sigh, smiling up at him.

Justin is quite tall compared to me. Him being 6'2" and me being 5'7". He has sandy blonde hair, styled into a messy quiff and he has forest green eyes that can change to different shades depending on the light.

"Mind off what?" He questions.

I sigh once again, brushing my hair out of my face. I have only ever told the gang about my past life and how I act like a nerd and why. I can trust them with it. I trust them with my life. And that's saying something.

"Well basically today my regular bullies beat me up, like normal, but one of them said what do your parents think of you, and that triggered a flashback of the a-accident...," I stutter.

He looks angry when I meet his gaze, he's always hated the fact that I don't defend myself when I attend school, whether or not I act like a nerd.

I ignore his anger and continue, "Anyways, the principle got Mrs Jackie into the school because apparently I was screaming and shouting during my flashback. But now that I know that I've done that, I am scared that someone will find out about my past, and then that could lead onto them finding out about my real lifestyle."

I look back at him and he zones out, probably thinking, and that's when I realise that we're nearing the bar.

"Look, I know that you don't want to reveal your true self, let alone your famous character, so for now all I can say is to stick up for yourself. As in, when they next bully you, sass them off instead of physically hurting them, because I know that you have a lot off sass," He states, winking at me.

I laugh. "Alright, I will try it. For your sake."

Justin and I turn up at the bar just after our conversation and I immediately see both Chloe and Sam. Chloe has shoulder length blonde hair and stunning blue eyes that have bits of brown in them. She's 5'7" just like me and is amazing with fashion, so she helps me out a lot when I need a cute outfit quickly. And she is dating Sam. And Sam is a girl.
