Chapter 7

Lisa's POV

I woke up because of the throbbing pain of my head. As I tried to move my left arm I felt something heavy, I look at to my left side to see Jennie sleeping peacefully in my arm while her left arm is at my tummy, her left leg is in between my thighs near my crotch. My heart skipped a beat. I held my breath for a seconds then the event of yesterday flash through my head. Where I get myself drunk to ease my mind then to Jennie taking care of my sick body. It's still 5:45 AM in the morning when I look at the clock. I slowly move my right hand towards her cheek and carries it.

I don't even know how you do this to me, but I love this feeling and at the same time scared. Why you make me feel like this Jennie? Why you? Of all the woman I've been with. I barely know you. I didn't even know if you aren't straight. But the kiss. Yeah, the kiss how your lips fits perfectly on my lips.

I move my hand to her lips and carries it. She move for a seconds then sleep again while snuggling into my neck. We just stayed like this and I let my eyes closed.

I woke up again because of the sounds of the alarm ringing. I felt Jennie move to my side and the next thing I know is I'm already on the floor. I groaned loudly

"Ahh~ Jennie what the--" She cut me off

"Lisa? I'm so sorry" She immediately kneel beside me and help me get back to bed.

"No, it's fine. I'm okay"

"I'm really sorry lis. I got panicked." she said

"It's okay Nini." She tilt her head and look at me confusedly

"Nini?" I hesitantly nod my head, I didn't know if she will like it.

"Yeah, don't you like it?" She shake her head then quickly said

"No, I love it." She then slowly show her gummy smile. I held my breath because man, who wouldn't? Seeing Jennie's gummy smile makes my tummy inside go wild.

I felt her hand touch my forehead under my bangs.

"Hmm, your fever goes down." She said, I held her other hand, looking through her eyes and said

"Thank you Jennie for taking care of me." she just nod her head and smile, we just sat there side by side

"Jennie?" I called out

"Hmm?" She said while tilting her head towards me

"Can I be--" I paused then scratch my neck, feeling my neck getting hot running through my cheeks I continue

"Can I be your friend?" She look at me shock then squint her eyes and nod

"Sure, why not?" Then slowly her lips stretch into a smile.

"Tha--nk Y--ou" I said shyly while stuttering, she just nod and get up quickly. I look at her confusedly and ask

"Where are you going?"

"I need to go cook us breakfast and get ready for work."

I nod then followed her to her kitchen. When she's already in front of the kitchen she look at me and ask

"Anything you want to eat?"

"It's up to you, as long as it's you who cook it" I saw her cheeks getting red she hide it and start cooking

I walk to the mini table and look at her, as she busied herself.

As soon as she's done cooking, Kimchi fried rice engulfed my nostril making me drool. I help her place the plates and utensils. We sat down face to face. She put the food in my plate same to her plate. We eat in silent til I ask her

"So, where do you work?" She look up to face me then back to her food and said

"MBN Corp." My breathing stop for a seconds, no way. Then ask her

"As a?"

"I'm the assistant manager of the CEO there" She said nonchalantly. I calm myself down. Dad once told me that her former assistant resigned because she migrated to the other country. Never thought that Jennie will be his new assistant but why can't I see Jennie there when Dad ask me to be there. I ask myself.

"Is your boss treating you well?" She look at me confused then nod

"Yeah, in fact Mr.  Bruschweiler invited me with his wife a dinner when her wife visited there last week." Since my sister died, my parents change into a better person they respect rich people and poor people equally. They also donate money to the orphanage where Daniel grow every year. And build their own orphanage.

Jennie got up then get a water and my medicine, she place it in front of me. I smile and said

"Thank you" She just smile then collect the plates and was about to wash but I stop her

"I'll do the washing." She shakes her head

"No, you still have a fever--" I cut her

"It's fine, my fever is gone. Please let me do it. You already cook breakfast and besides you'll be late if you do this." She sigh

"Fine, just don't forget your medicine." I nodded my head as she walk back to her room.

When Jennie walk into the living room. I ask her

"Can I drive you?"

"No, you're still sick."

"I already told you it's already gone. Look" I said while flexing my muscles, she shake her head and was about to protest

"I won't stop bothering you until you said yes." She sigh then said

"Fine." I mentally shout a "Yes" in my head while grinning

"Okay, just let me change first." She nodded her head and sit on her couch

I immediately run towards her room to get my clothes from last night then run back to her main door, walking towards my apartment door and open it while jumping in happiness. I quickly go to my room and change a new clothes.

As soon as Jennie open her door and close it we immediately walk towards the elevator. We just stand there in silent until we've reach to my car, I open the passenger seat and let her in. I walk around to reach the driver seat then get in. The drive was silent.

"You can play a song Jennie" I said motioning her towards my andriod car stereo. She reach for it then click the spotify, scan a song til Tonight by FM Static played inside the car. Jennie is humming along the song.

30 minute's of driving we arrived at the company where she work, I motioned her to wait she look at me confused, I quickly go out and walk to her side to open her door. She blush and tuck her hair behind her ear shyly and whisper a

"Thank you" As we stood there face to face, I motioned my hand for her to go she nod then kiss my cheek before saying

"Don't forget your medicine." I nodded my head as I watched her, walking inside the entrance of the Company. I squeal in happiness. What a day.

I was about to go inside my car when suddenly
