Chapter 20

Jennie's POV

Chaehee and I walk through the crowds. I spotted Jisoo with Lisa and her friends. We left the kids at my parents house so we can also enjoy.

"Hi guys" They look at to my direction when they heard me. I introduced them one by one including Lisa's friends to Chaehee.

"And this is Chaehee my girlfriend." The look on their faces telling me that they didn't expected that with a mixed of disappointment, well except for Lisa and the girl named Mina. I saw Jisoo shakes her head then proceed to talk to bam, namjoon and jimin.

"Hi Jen, finally you're already here." Chaeng cheerfully says behind me. I look at her then give her a hug while handing her my gift.

"Happy Birthday Chaeng."

"Ow, thank you Jen. And who's that?" Chaeng ask me while pointing Chaehee. I introduced Chaehee as my girlfriend to Chaeng making her gasp. Then tried to compose herself and give Chaehee her sweetest smile.

The groups are trying to talk to Chaehee so she won't be out of place. I saw Lisa having a conversation with a girl named Mina, Momo introduce her to Lisa. I saw how the girl named Mina slap Lisa's shoulder and laugh cutely when Lisa say something to her. Mina then lean in closely to Lisa making me grip on Chaehee's hand didn't even know that I was holding.

"Are you okay Jen?" Chaehee ask, I look at her then smile sweetly at her.

"Yes baby." I replied with a seductive tone then kiss the side of her lips to get Lisa's attention. But this monkey didn't seems to bother. I really wanted to drag myself towards her and sit between Mina and Lisa.

Through out the night Lisa is avoiding me though she make a conversation with Chaehee. I saw Lisa excused herself I was about to go after her but Chaehee also excuse us, she drag me outside the house and pin me on the wall.

"Sorry baby, but can't wait to taste this sexy lips of yours." Chaehee whisper while trailing her fingers on my lips. She leaned in and kiss me. Chaehee and I never had sex even though we've been together for a month. She tried to ask me for it, but I always refused her. I don't know why but it just I don't feel like doing it with her. I also didn't even know if I like Chaehee. Second later I heard a thud beside us making me pull a little then look to my side to see who's the culprit. Lisa is looking at me apologetically making me push Chaehee. Chaehee is looking at me confusedly

"I'm sorry for disturbing you guys." Lisa said then walk away. Chaehee tried to kiss me again but I stop her, telling her I want to go back inside. I don't know why, but seeing Lisa saw us kissing makes me feel like I wanted to run after her then explain it to her that the kiss is really nothing. After what happened I never see Lisa at the party again.

Chaehee drive me back home cause it's already midnight. When I step inside the house I saw Lisa sitting on the sofa. I walk pass by her but before I could reach to my room. I heard Lisa ask

"Do you really hate me that much Jennie?" I furrowed my brows in confusion and ask

"What?" When she look up at me I saw how red her eyes because of crying.

"What should I do for you to forgive me?"

"Leave me and my kids alone Lisa" I said blankly. Lisa's eyes are plastered with different emotions and I can also hear how her breathing become heavy. She tried to calm herself first before continuing

"I love you Jennie and I always do, can't we just turn back to the old us?" Lisa kneel down while reaching for my hand. Hearing those words from Lisa makes me feel happy but scared at the same time.
