Lisa's POV
The guard immediately open the gate when they recognize my car approaching. As soon as I step inside the mansion the maids and butler greeted me
"Good afternoon Agasshi." They said in unison while bowing their heads. I just nod my head while motioning my hands to get back to work.
"Your dad is inside of his office." Mr. Park the head butler said. I just give him a smile and said
"Thank you."
Walking towards his office inside the mansion. When we arrive Mr. Park knock first then open the door of my dad's office, as soon as I step inside my dad look up at me
"Lalisa" he said then motion me to sit on the couch. I walk to the couch while dad do the same, when we both settle down he quickly said
"I saw you together with Jennie outside the company the other day, never thought that you two know each other." I nod my head while looking at him with furrowed brows.
"Don't tell me this is the reason why you ask me to be here? Look dad, if you guys are against to the both--"
"Who said that we're against to the both of you?" Mom quickly cut me off from behind.
"And the reason why we ask you to be her is that we want to inform you that you need to attend a business trip next week, we want you to be there."
"You could have just sent me a text to inf--"
"Your mom is not yet done young lady." Dad said sternly, I just huff and motion my mom to continue.
"And the main reason is we invited Jennie for a dinner tonight."
"What?!" I ask shock
"You heard me Lisa and I'm not gonna repeat it."
"And I bet Jennie still didn't know?" Dad ask. I sigh and shake my head telling them no
"Why not?" Mom ask me while reaching my hand, giving it a squeeze. I look at them with a sly smile and said
"Well I'm trying to but Jennie once told me about how seulgi courted this girl named Irene."
"Ow, I didn't know seulgi has an interest to Ms. Bae." Dad interrupt I nod my head and continue
"Yeah, and Irene rejected seulgi for almost 2 years until now and the reason is, she said that she didn't want to date his boss daughter cause people might think that she just using seulgi to get the position and for the money. And Jennie told me her opinion that she would do the same to what Irene did. Well I won't blame Jennie if that's what she think, because we all know how other people's mind work, make a gossip and spread it." Mom hug me and was about to talk but
Suddenly a knock on the door interrupt us and the butler behind the door said
"Ms. Kim is already arrived." Mom quickly got up and walk towards the door dad followed mom and I also do the same following them from behind, we walk towards the living room where Jennie is.
As soon as we step in the living room, Jennie quickly got up when she heard mom's voice
"Oh Jennie, I'm glad you came." she give Jennie a hug
"Well, it's my pleasure to be here Mrs. Bruschweiler."
"Oh, quit the formality my dear, just call me mom." Jennie tilt her head while looking at my mother questionably. Dad cleared his throat loudly enough to get Jennie's attention, as soon as Jennie look at our side her eye's widen while looking at me
