Jennie's POV
It's been 2 weeks since Lisa started avoiding me again. I don't know why, but I always felt a pang in my heart everytime I see her. I tried to talk to her but she just passed by me as if she didn't know me, since then I never tried to talk to her. Screw her for asking me to be her friend.
We're here at the cafeteria eating our lunch when suddenly
"Hi Jennie" I look up to see Hanbin standing beside me while carrying his tray. I saw my friends face wiggling their brows. Hanbin is from IT department he's been asking me for a Dinner but I rejected it. Hanbin is a handsome guy but Lisa is more handsomely beautiful.
"Can I join you guys?" He ask while looking to my friends, my friends nod and make a space for him beside me.
"So Jennie? Are you free for a Friendly Dinner tonight?" He ask hopefully
"Look hanbin, I--" before I could continue Irene interrupt me
"Come on Jennie, just give it a shot." While the others nod their heads
"I--" I groaned cause Joy cut me this time
"It's just a Friendly Dinner Jennie. Come on." I look at them as their face telling me to go on. I sigh then look at Hanbin
"Okay" I saw him smile widely then said
"Thank you, I'll wait for you later at the entrance okay?" I nod my head while smile slightly then proceed to eat my lunch.
4:55 PM as I look at the clock. 5 minutes before my working hours is done. I pull the files that Mr. Bruschwieler ask me to recheck and put it into his desk. Mr. Bruschweiler has a important family meeting so he told me to go first when I'm done and don't wait for him. I check my self first before going downstairs then walk to the elevetor.
As soon as I step outside I saw Hanbin leaning on his car. He wave his hand when he saw me then open his passenger side then ask
"Are you ready Jennie?" I just nod myself then smile cause honestly I just want to go straight to my apartment and lay in my bed while thinking why Lisa is avoiding me.
While he's driving he also keep talking that I didn't know what about cause my mind is drifted off to a certain tall living barbie doll with a bangs living next door. I groaned and scolded myself to why I always think of her, she didn't even care. I heard Hanbin saying
"You okay Jennie? We can just move this Friendly Dinner if--" I cut him off and replied
"No I'm fine, it's just I'm nervous" I lied. He chuckled and said
"Don't be, it's just me." I just give him a nod
We sat there face to face as we waited for our order. Hanbin keep talking to me about how he would like to become a composer when suddenly my eyes caught a familiar figure. Going outside from one of the VIP room. I immediately got up as he saw me and walk towards me. Hanbin look behind him and do the same. When Mr. Bruschweiler is already in front of us I greeted him
"Good Evening Mr. Bruschweiler." Then bow my head as I look up again. I saw Lisa walking out to the VIP room where Mr. Bruschweiler also came out I squint my eyes in confusion. Our eyes met and I saw how her eyes get darken when she saw me. Then she avert her eyes at Hanbin then to where's Hanbin's hand is, that's when I realized Hanbin is holding my waist. She clench her jaw and balled her fist. Walking passed us as Mr. Bruschweiler said
"Enjoy your date Jennie." That's when my mind came back to this two man in front of me. I look at them confused, Date? Then look at Hanbin then back to Mr. Bruschweiler I just give him a slight smile then nod. As soon as Mr. Bruschweiler gone
