"Animal Instinct" (Louis & Legosi x Male!Reader)

Chapter 5: Bond Between Hybrids

Legosi never raised his voice toward you, though.. seeing his reaction to the various wounds on your forearms made you feel like trash.. Pure garbage.. 

His shocked expression.. The way his jaw just.. slacked as he spotted some of the bad ones..

After a few minutes of inspection, which felt like hours, Legosi stared into your eyes, his own showing genuine concern.. He didn't ask why. He didn't scream at you. He just seemed.. concerned. 

Legosi let go of you after a few more minutes, luckily just in time to not be seen when the others entered. Jack gave you both a smile, not seeming to notice you adjusting the sleeves of your shirt to cover your forearms.

"Hey, guys." said Jack, the others sort of pouring into the room, Collot closing the door once everyone was inside. "You alright, Legosi? You look sort of pale.."

Legosi cleared his throat. "Yeah.. Just worked myself a bit too hard today. I'll be fine.." Legosi gazed at you again.. You knew the two of you would probably have a long chat about this. However, his expression seemed to soften after a moment, before he turned to Jack. "Listen.. [Y/N] and I are going to take a walk.. Maybe grab something to eat.. He's not used to the lights yet, so I'm going to give him some tips.."

Jack didn't seem to think anything odd of this. None of the others did. Legosi looked to you, and motioned his hand for you to follow, which you did.. 

You and Legosi stepped out into the hall, walking a distance away from Room 701.. Finally, when you were a good distance away from prying eyes, Legosi outright pushed you against the wall, large hands pinning your shoulders down.. 

He looked to you with.. those eyes.. Those eyes.. They almost resembled the eyes of a Komodo Dragon.. 

He stared into your eyes, his look.. not accusing or malicious.. His eyes simply stared deep into your own.. 

He didn't say a single word for a while.. but, when he finally did speak, it was obvious that he meant business. 

"..I don't want you.. doing that to your arms anymore.. Okay..? Just.. come to me when you're feeling down.. or.. upset.. or.. whatever made you do that to yourself. Okay..?" Legosi continued to stare into your eyes, as if.. reading your soul like a book. "You're damaged.. hurt.. Something in your past.. Something bad.."

He said that in a tone that was.. odd. He had read you like a book.. but, how? "Your.. eyes. They don't have the shine that.. other canines have. You've seen a lot.. Too much." Legosi continued to just.. read you, before..

His head came closer to your own..

You could feel your snouts touch.. Your could feel your noses touch.. 

Legosi held there for a moment, before his cheeks went a bright red and he pulled away, audibly stammering.. 

You didn't want to admit it to him, but you.. sort of liked that..

After a bit more stammering, Legosi lead you back to Room 701.. 

It was going to be one long night..
