"Animal Instinct" (Louis & Legosi x Male!Reader)

Chapter 12: Private Affairs

Things were awkward for a while after that. You had feelings for both Legosi and Louis by this point.. Legosi was acting like himself around you. Well, as much like himself that he had been acting recently. After what had happened roughly a week-or-so ago, or.. however long it'd been, Legosi seemed very apt on making sure you were doing alright mentally.

The other dogs of Room 701 had become your close friends by now. Jack was very caring and friendly toward you, Collot offered to teach you how to cook more things, Durham joked around with you, and teased you in a friendly manner. Miguno? Well, Miguno and Durham sort of did the same, though Miguno did offer to teach you guitar. Heck, even Voss told you to go fuck yourself, which was apparently his way of saying he liked you.

Room 701 was becoming more and more of a home to you, though you knew that the next Drama Club meeting was coming up soon. With that upcoming meeting, you knew full-well that your meeting with Louis would come soon. That was a feeling you.. dread. Louis had been so odd around you lately. The shoving his hand in your maw.. What happened last time you two interacted.. The passing glances as he walked by you in the hall.. 

Days passed by between that kiss, and the next Drama Club meeting. It was coming. Closer and closer with every passing day.. Finally, it came. 

Much like you'd agreed to, you arrived early. I had to take an odd shortcut to get there early, but you managed. Nobody would know of your odd little shortcut, using that back stairwell nobody seemed to realize was there. Things were still rough after Tem's death, a small memorial to him outside of the theater, where he had been slaughtered. 

You made it into the room, and walked throughout the room, looking for Louis. Where was he? You weren't sure where he was.. Then, you heard a call from the lighting area. "[Y/N]. Up here." called Louis' voice. You looked up, spotting Louis standing beside the light Legosi usually manned. "I see you actually came.. Good." He came down from the lighting area, and walked up to you. "I wish to.. speak with you.. privately." Louis beckoned you with a finger..

You walked with him to that little room. That office of his. He closed the door once you two were inside.. and alone.. Then, he grabbed your shirt once again, but didn't pull you to eye-level. Instead, he gave that same smirk. "You have surpassed my expectations already. I didn't expect someone so similar to Legosi to fight back when cornered. Maybe I was.. incorrect about you in my assessments."

He then raised himself up, getting onto the balls of his feet as he tried to meet you. You looked down at him. There were a few inches of difference in your heights. Louis' smirk never left. "I wish to know.. How brave are you? You go from shying away from everybody to pushing me away in such a short period. What sparked this..? Your move to 701..? Possibly." He then met your eyes with his own. 

You tried to answer, but.. he shushed you with a finger. "No.. Forget I asked. Your move to that room makes the most sense. A change in scenery to a more.. positive environment. Almost forced to be social. It just makes the most sense.." He grinned. "You and I have things to discuss.. and you have arrived at a great time. We'll be alone for a bit.."
