Chapter 15: Self-Reflection

You just really, really needed to think..

You collapsed, falling onto your knees..

You just really, really needed to think. Louis. Legosi. Room 701. How quickly you changed. Legosi's support helping you get out there more.. The assistance of Jack.. Collot's silent nature, yet supportive tendencies. Durham helped you get a thicker skin. Miguno kept Durham in line. Voss? Well, Voss had sometimes just.. taken rides on your shoulders or atop your head during walks. 

Voss could also be a bit of a dick, but.. it didn't really get to you. 

You just forced yourself into a sitting position. 

Your phone suddenly buzzed.. Odd. You didn't expect a call.. You removed it from your pocket, and saw a text from a number you didn't recognize. Opening the text, you saw a picture of Louis, holding what appeared to be one of your socks! The text below read 'You forgot this. When I'm finished with the wolf, please come in and claim it'.

You could see Legosi in the background of that image.. He was standing there, all awkwardly.

You could think for a bit longer now.. 

You just needed a moment longer. Legosi. Louis. Everything. It'd all just happened so goddamn quickly. One minute, you're a laughing stock in a room full of felines. The next, you're having sex.. with Louis!

You were silent, just contemplating everything.. You had to try to piece everything together. Losing your virginity to.. a wild crush of yours you thought you had no right being with.. and now, here you were, between that wolf who had cared for you when you needed it most, and the deer who had just seemed to show up and flip everything upside-down.

Finally, the wolf returned, and stood beside you.. He seemed to look to you, silent for a moment.. 

Oh, God. Oh, fuck. Oh, God. Oh, fuck. He's gonna be pissed. He's gonna be fucking pissed.

"Are.. Are you okay..?" asked the wolf. "I talked to Louis, and.. he.. said a lot of things. A lot of things I wasn't sure about, but.. are you okay?" He kneeled down beside you. He didn't say what they talked about, but.. he seemed to be more-so worried for your wellbeing right now. 

"Louis said.. a lot of things.. a lot of things that.. I'll need to think over, but there's one that I really don't need to think over.." He took a breath. "I'm.. I'm not.. I.." He visibly tensed, trying to get the words out.

He was probably going to say something along the lines of 'I'm not okay with you seeing Louis' or 'I'm not going to in a relationship with you'.. or 'I'm not going to be doing this three-way thing with you'.. or 'I'm not yours anymore'. You dreaded his rejection. You dreaded his anger.. only to be met with something you didn't expect..

"I'm not.. going to say no.. to you, me, and Louis being.. a three-way relationship. Louis listed a lot of benefits.. and.. I'm willing to try it out." Legosi gave you a soft smile, and helped you back to your feet..  and then, in that moment, your lips finally pressed together, the wolf giving you a soft, yet.. loving kiss. 

Everything in the world made sense.. This wolf.. and that deer..

Maybe this wouldn't be so bad..
