Chapter 17: Under the Wolf's Protection

A few days had passed between the day your relationships with Louis and Legosi had been solidified. The deer had been busy, but it wasn't a surprise. Being one of the most popular men in school, he had other business to attend to. Besides, this relationship of yours was still somewhat hidden. Well, Louis preferred to keep it hidden. Legosi didn't seem to care.

The ones who did care were those who seemed to enjoy getting under your skin. Bill was one of them, and a few of the others seemed to join him on it. You were still small, and weak. Yes, with Legosi's love and affection, and Louis' protection, you felt more at-ease, but.. some of the other students seemed to prefer when you were at the bottom of the pecking order.

It started one day at Drama Club. You were helping out with something technical. It wasn't the lights this time, but instead was some on-stage effect that was vital to an upcoming performance. Bill had no reason to even be in the room. Bill really had no reason to even try to speak to you, but.. of course, some people just can't leave well-enough alone.

"Hey, faggot." let out Bill, immediately pushing you from behind. You tripped over some of the equipment, and smashed face-first into the stage, ending up with a cut on your forehead. Much like any other wound to the head, it bled.. a fair bit. "Agh! Goddammit!" you let out. You didn't even notice the blood yet. When you did, well.. All you could do was grunt. 

Then, a familiar voice spoke up. "Hey.." It was Legosi. "Could you not do that..?" Bill whirled around to see the wolf, and scoffed. "And what are you gonna do about it? Cry to Louis or some shit?" And then, suddenly, it happened. You heard a loud thunk, and then Bill went flying back, and hit the stage, groaning and putting a hand to his face. "You son of a bitch.." Bill immediately got to his feet, and was about to charge at Legosi, until.. 

"BILL!" barked another familiar voice. It was Louis. Legosi was about to help you up when Louis was heard.. "The hell did I say?! Do you truly think you could just skirt around a punishment and continue your behavior..?" Legosi managed to help you to your feet.. and pulled you close. Louis eyed you two, and eyed Legosi.. before rolling his eyes. "Carnivores.. Legosi. [Y/N]. Come with me.." Bill scoffed, as if enjoying the fact you'd probably be getting in trouble for something that he did.. 

Louis lead you two off, and left Bill where he was.. Legosi continued to hold you close, and didn't let you go. Louis just sighed once you were in the office he commonly used to hide away from everybody else.. "Legosi.. [Y/N].. Tell me Bill was the catalyst.. He actually put hands on you, correct?" You nodded quietly.. still.. kind of bleeding.. Louis spotted that, finally, and grunted.. He immediately grabbed a first aid kit, and bandaged your head..
