It's been over an hour since I saw Aiden and I've just been sitting on this cold hard surface of this kitchen counter. I just wanted the comfort of a bed and a nice warm bath, and wake up and this would all be just some sort of weird dream. Time seemed like it was going so much slower than before, I just sat and waited for something to do. Finally, Aiden walked through the kitchen; he didn't bother to even spare me a glance and grabbed something from the refrigerator. He walked over the counter where I was standing, "I'm going to order take out do you want anything?" He's actually asking if I want something to eat, "Just surprise me." He nodded his head while he took a sip of beer that he had previously grabbed and left the kitchen and me alone, again.

I was laying down on the cold counter when I heard the doorbell ring, I sat up hoping it was the food that Aiden ordered. Soon enough Aiden walked into the kitchen with a bag of takeout. I slowly began to sit up, yearning for food. "It took long enough, I'm starving." I heard the crinkle of the bags as Aiden started to look through the food; my stomach growled. I closed my eyes, sniffing the glorious food aroma through my nostrils. Opening my eye I was met with a whole garlic bread stick; and it was enormous. I mean being this height sucks, but having giant food could almost make this a blessing. Before I could make it to where my food was laying, it was lifted up from my view. I looked towards the direction where my food was lifted and saw Aiden taking a bite from my bread stick. "Realistically thinking did you think this was all for you?" I slowly nodded my head, I was beyond pissed he took my bread stick. "I hate you so much Aiden!" I stated in almost of a growled tone; No one messes with me when food is involved.

All Aiden had given me was just crumbs of his food, but to me they didn't look like crumbs they seemed like a normal size. I sat on the counter eating my meal, slowly getting full and getting used to the silence. Aiden had gathered his food and I had not seen him for over an hour. I finished eating the crumbs I was left with to eat. I sat there looking at everything in the kitchen it was a nice house, I know for a fact this has to be Aiden's own house. I had seen the Maddens family compound before and knew that this was not it. In all my time working for Mr. Madden I never knew anything about his relationship with Aiden, I mean everyone knows that the company will be passed down to Aiden; in the history of the founding of the cooperation it's always been passed down to the oldest son; and Aiden was the only son and child of Mr. Madden. The more I thought of it I hardly knew anything about Aiden except from what I heard through the news, but anytime we were in each others presence it seemed as if we could kill each other. I guess since right now I should put in some sort of effort to befriend Aiden.

I guessed I ended up falling asleep, all the lights were off and everything was silent. I looked at my watch and saw that it was almost five in the morning. This was the normal time I got up and got ready for the day, but now I had nothing to do. I sat up waiting for something to happen and Aiden to come and get me.

Okay, I doubled checked my watch and saw that it was nine in the morning; and Aiden was no where in sight. All I had to do was wait; I needed some sort of stimulation. Heck, even everyone that we have shrunk in the program have some sort of schedule; but no I don't have any of that luck.

Aiden finally walks into the kitchen in a white shirt and sleeping pants, "Please don't tell me your just waking up now?" It seemed that Aiden was taken aback. "Damn, don't be so loud and here I thought I could forget about you." Aiden walked around the kitchen getting a bowl and some cereal. Just as he walked to the corner where I was standing by, I heard a feminine voice. "Aiden! Are you planning on coming back for seconds?" She slowly made her way closer to where Aiden was, I looked up to face him and he looked down at me; that's when I realized what he was going to do. Before I knew it, I was shoved into a bowl of cold milk and cereal.

Aiden sat the bowl down and disappeared with the girl and leaving me stuck in cold milk. Finally, I was lifted out of the bowl, I glared at Aiden I was beyond pissed. Next thing I knew I was given a dish towel, to warm me up. "I'm sorry about that I didn't think she come down usually she never does that." That didn't stop my glare, "What, did you think some girl who spent the night with you would not come down for breakfast?" He nodded his head, "And that is what is wrong with men and romance." I wrapped the towel around my body and I was almost engulfed by it. "Who said me and that girl had anything romantic going on?, it's more like strangers with benefits arrangement." I didn't want to hear anything from him about who he sleeps with. "So, I was thinking we should probably go to the lab later tonight." I was waiting for an answer from him, but he sat down on a kitchen stool and grabbed his phone. He was avoiding answering my question and was avoiding looking down at me. "What are you not telling me?"

A VACATION! I stood up not caring if I was still in my dirty wet outfit. "A trip you knew you were going to , and you didn't tell me!" I was beyond pissed, "Calm down Alina." Calm down, he wants me to calm down, it's not like he understand what I'm going through. "I can leave you here with enough food and water you'll be okay." I nodded my head "There is no way I'm being left alone by myself!" I practically yelled, "You promised me you would help me, and that means making sure I'm safe so no way I'm being left alone I'm coming with you."
