Twenty One

Aiden ended up falling asleep and I was up, I was planning on my revenge. I was just confused why would Charles have Marta, it just seemed weird from what Aiden said, he last saw her with Mr. Maddens ex. I just don't see why Charles would have Marta, and it seemed Aiden was shocked with Charles having her also. All I knew was that I had to wait for Aiden to wake up and I had to find out exactly what happened last night.

Finally Aiden woke up and it was good timing, because I was getting hungry. "Can you please get me something to eat please?" We were down in the kitchen and I was slowly eating crumbs of a pancake. Aiden didn't say a whole lot, but I needed to know what exactly happened. "Last night you said Charles had Marta, how do you know?" I didn't think Aiden was going to answer, because he was quiet for a few seconds. "I saw her, not for long; but I know it was her." I nodded my head, "Last night Charles wanted to leave early, so we headed to his apartment, I had given some girls the address to meet us, but when I had to go to the bathroom and I accidentally opened the wrong door, it wasn't just Marta though, there were others and the whole room was plastered with pictures of you and some of them were you in your apartment, it was awful." Aiden had his hands on his face and was rubbing his forehead. I already knew Charles was weird, but him stalking me and keeping people as pets was even worse.

"Somehow we need to go back to his apartment, we need to gather more Intel, or more so I need to." I was blabbering, trying to solve this issue, "You can keep him distracted and then I can sneak off." I didn't know if Aiden was listening to me or anything until he interrupted me, "Nope we can't go back there and I'm not going to take you there he could see you." Aww it sounded like he cared, but I knew better. "Trust me Aiden I won't get caught and besides it's not like Charles would hurt me." Well I at least hoped he wouldn't. "Fine, but we do this on my terms, I have the right to call off the plan if I don't feel comfortable." I nodded my head in agreement, either way I was going to get my revenge.

It was the morning the day where I hoped my plan would work. Aiden kept questioning me or more, it seemed like he wanted me to chicken out so he wouldn't have to go through this plan. "Aiden, I'm ready! Now just call Charles so we can get going." It was go time

Aiden had finally made an arrangement with Charles so they could meet up and hang out together; and we had finally arrived at the apartment complex where he lived. I was just ready to get this over with and maybe find out some information about Charles and what exactly his plans were. "Remember Alina if it's not safe then we're not doing it." Aiden mumbled before we went into action.

Finally Charles and Aiden were talking like they were the best friends, but I could just tell by Aidens voice he wanted to be somewhere else then to hang out with Charles. "Is it okay if I go and use your restroom real quick?" It was go time, this is the moment where I would go off on my own and go get some answers. Finally, I was lifted out of Aidens pocket and Aiden had me in his palm and close to his face, "Be safe and I'll come and get you in an hour exactly at five, right here in this spot." With that and his agreement it was time to finally do my job.

I had to crawl under the door into the room where I was investigating. Once, I was clear I could finally stand and look at the area and the surroundings. I had to get a scope of the room; I realized I had to get up on the tables and hopefully I would see Marta or just anyone. I surveyed the room looking for a way to climb and then I noticed a jacket hanging over a chair and I saw the draw strings. Just like my old physical education class I climbed the rope, slowly, but I did it. I continued climbing. When I finally made it up to the table, I was exhausted and out of breath; but that was when I saw everyone and they were all staring at me. In between breaths and all the stares from all these other strangers, I was able to mutter a sentence. "Which one of you all is Marta?" And just like that Marta raised her hand and I slowly made my way over to her.
