29. From the Top

Derek's POV:
For the next three days, I was missing Penelope and very tired. The last day, we finally caught the unsub and we head back home. The plane ride back was quiet. I got back home and put all my stuff down. It was 7:30 and Penelope was about to get off from work. I quickly drove to headquarters and rode the elevator up to the 6th floor. It was quiet. I walk down to Penelope's office and put my ear up to the door.

I could hear the clicking of her mouse and I silently opened the door. She was standing up looking through some papers in her hand. She had on a tight yellow dress and heels to go with it. Her hair was straight and she looked delicious. I quietly closed the door back. I tip toed up behind her and whispered in her ear,"Hey babe."

Penelope's POV:
It was almost time to leave work and it had been a long boring day. I was shutting down all my monitors and I stood up to leave. I was looking through some papers when a deep voice whispers in my ear,"Hey babe."

I stiffened up not knowing whether to scream or not. I realized it was Derek and he kissed my neck. "Geez Derek, don't scare me like that." He laughs lightly and wraps his muscular arms around me.

He presses himself against me from behind and mumbles into my neck,"You look really hot." He continues to kiss my neck and I blush,"I do it for you." He turns me around, still holding me,"Well, it's working."

He pulls me in for a kiss and I put my arms around his neck. He grabs my sides and puts me on the desk. He starts kissing my neck and feels up my dress. I knew where this was going. I wanted it so badly, but I wasn't ready.
"Derek, wait." "I won't hurt ya Baby Girl." He continues to kiss my neck,"No, Derek wait." I push him off me and he looks at me. "What's wrong?" I look at him for a few seconds,"I-I'm not ready, yet. It's not you ok? It's just, I'm not ready."

He puts his arms around me,"I understand. It's ok baby. I'm ready when you're ready ok?" He tucks my hair behind my ear and I look him in the eye and smile,"Ok." "Ok."

I get off the desk and grab my things. We walk to the elevators together and I ask,"So when did y'all get back?" "Like, 30 minutes ago." "So, you came down here just to see me?" He smiles,"I'll travel miles to see you Baby Girl." I smile back. We step onto the elevator and I say,"So what ya got in mind for the weekend?" He looks at me and says,"Wherever it takes us."
