What happened minutes ago seems has been long forgotten as Alex made us order some pizza to nibble on while watching a rerun of Game of Thrones. I was taken aback when he suddenly changes his demeanor that changes the atmosphere as well, much to my liking from serious drama to normal tone like we're bestfriends having a movie night. Except it was series.

And we're not best of friends.

I was grateful for Alex though that he prevent the awkward and uncomfortable moment from lingering after my emotional breakdown. I couldn't stand that honestly.

Right now, we were watching and eating pepperoni pizza. We would throw some relevant comments scene after scene and would fight about some trivial things. Let's just say, it made me forget for a while. Courtesy of Alex.

We were currently on the episode 3 when something dawn on me. I checked my watch and notice it was already past midnight.

Alex notice my franticness and frown.

"It's already late. I need to go." I stood up before Alex can respond.

I look for my things that I discarded on a chair and take a hold of it. But before I even yank it on my arms I heard loud footsteps coming behind me. I turn around and watch Alex stride his way to me.

"Oh sorry I totally forgot to thank you for this. I hope I haven't done much of a trouble to you and thanks for... everything and I'm sorry." I rambled, biting my bottom lip as I watch for his reaction.

He tilted his head as if confused.

"What are you apologizing for exactly?" He pondered after a while. Crossing his arms on his buff chest.

I exhaled loudly. "Well first for bothering you tonight and probably ruin whatever plan you have. Second, for witnessing my breakdown earlier that was absolutely pathetic and embarrassing. I shouldn't have done that in front of you when we basically just met for the first time. Again sorry."

He smirked finding my apology amusing. I don't the know if I should be offended or what because everything I say was sincere.

"Is there an additional number after your second?" He asked.

"Actually, yes. There is more." I licked my lips a gesture that I haven't realize I've been doing whenever I was nervous aside from biting my lip until it bled.

"Mmh." He hummed distractingly. He was again have a stare showdown with my face. Well I thought his eyes were on my lips but I erased the stupid thought.

"I'm sorry for... disappearing like that after you help me find him. I... kind of lost in a haze and forgot about you at that time instead of sending you my gratification for finding him at last. It was a bitch move for me to do because I technically ghost you, unintentionally of course. And I sort of realize only after my mind was cleared enough to remember how much you've done for me. I really am sorry. I hope I didn't hurt you in some way because I really felt bad if so. Anyway, it is the main reason why I was here. I'd like you to know what a great help you are to me and I promise to repay you in anyways that I can." I heave in one breath practically rapping.

Alex then reach for me. Just when I thought he was going to hug me again, he just pat head and ruffle my hair.

                  My eyes widen at that.
