•••Max's POV•••
I wake up in a big bed. Its nice and warm, I snuggle up with the big soft blankets. After a moment the peace is broken with one thought 'where the fuck am I?'.
My eyes shot open. I look around for clues, I see a tv on the wall, next to a sliding door closet. The blankets where green with white pillows. The room was moderately big. I look over at the other wall and see a Camp Cambell poster and my stomach dropped.
I pray I'm not where I think I am, as I slowly climb out of the bed. I see Mr. Honeynuts and grab him, clutching him close to my chest as I walk out into the hall. It takes a minute for my eyes to adjust to the sudden light.
I walk down the hall slowly abserving the hall. It was a pail yellow with a few pictures of people I can't recognize, except for the group picture of everyone this summer.
I soon find myself in a bigger room. This was the living room. There was a bigger TV on a stand. In the stand it was filled with movies. I look at the couch and supprized to to see Gwen sleeping on it.
The living room was connected to the kitchen. There was counters agenst the wall with a fridge and a stove.
I here some noise coming from down the hall next to the bedroom I came from. I walk in the room and see David moving a desk and look at him confused.
"Oh, good morning Max." He says but not in his regular cheery voice. "Did you sleep well?" He asks taking out papers from the desk and putting them in a bin.
"Umm..." I say then yawn. "Yes." I mumble. He smiles and countinues to do his thing."Where's my bag?" I ask. "It's in the kitchen." He says.
"Ok, and David?"
"Yes? Max." He says.
I quickly walk up to him and hug him. I start to brake down.
"Thank you." I say in a cracked voice, tears roll down my cheeks. David hugs back not saying anything.
Gwen walks in. "You guys ok?" She says, stretching. I immediately run to her with a. hug, still crying. She stands there in shock before hugging me back.
"Well shit, it's gonna be ok, Max." She say quietly.
•••five years latet•••
"Are you excited for school son?!" David asks me as Gwen and I sit down at the table. "Don't call me son" I snap at him. " You know Max we are your adopted parents, it's been five years, so you can stop acting like a little shit...all the time." Gwen says grabbing her keys. I get annoyed with her. " So are you and David like fucking yet? Or how does this whole 'parents' thing work?" I ask with an eye roll, grabbing my bag.
She stops, "Oh thanks for bringing that up I almost forgot. Well considering you know what fucking is and are now in high school I think time you and your father have the talk I assume he probably has a whole song about it." She snaps back, before walking out. I fallowed climbing into the back seat.
We go to my new school, we've sent me to my old school for the rest of middle school, but after a while it got to complicated. So now for High school we moved me to one that was closer. I was nervous. It's not like I had any friends at my old school though. I was a freshmen.
I walk in, looking down at my schedule. "Ok, first class science...room 180, ok..." I mumble to myself. I get interupted by bumping into something. I look up and see a big, muscular, ginger with a buzz cut.
