Sean Lacich, an imaginative dream who loves franchises of all kinds. He one day finds a large dull red gem, thinks it's fake and pretends it's a chaos Emerald, and yells, "CHAOS CONTROL", thinking of the Sonic franchise, and it is shocked when he is engulfed in a green light. He lands face first into rock and loses consciousness.
With Miles Tails Prowler, an machine activates and shows a map with a check point, a Fake Chaos Emerald, which gave off a different and strange energy reading, had somehow appeared in a nearby forest. Tails notices this and quickly calls Sonic, asking him to go to the location and find the emerald.
Back with the Sean, he begins to regain consciousness, and grasps his sore face, but is quickly surprised by the fact his hand looked to have a white glove, and his arm was thin and covered in black hair. He had been turned into a black cat Mobian.
Eggman had also seen the signal of the altered copy of the Chaos Emerald, and sends a few robots after it.
Back with Sean, he looks at himself with the Emerald he had, which was a much brighter red now, and looked at his now Feline face, slowly becoming calm. When he started to smile, sounds of crashing could be heard a distance away. He decides to investigate and spots a large robot, which, in almost horror movie fashion, spins its head and stares at Sean.
Cut to Sonic racing towards where Tails had pinpointed the Alter Emerald location to be, he saw a beam of a laser shooting in multiple directions.
