It was the next day and me, Byleth, and the rest of our house were discussing our mission this month. "Our mission this month is to patrol and set up defenses to stop the assassination plot," Edelgard says.

"I wonder if an assassination attempt is truly the goal of our enemy..." after Hubert said that Byleth and I had a look of realization.

"It's a distraction." Byleth says before I can open my mouth.

"yes, I think so too. A barely concealed message, trying to distract us from whatever's really going on. sloppy to say the least." Edelgard says and continues. "And while everyone is searching for a Phantom assassin, they'll be free to accomplish their true goal with ease."

"The monastery houses many valuable weapons. Perhaps that is their aim?" Ferdinand suggested.

"I hear the monastery has a treasure vault too. Seems like the sort of place a foe would like some alone time in." Dorothea says.

"Unlikely." I thought.

"Garreg Mach is Immense, and not only just above ground but below as well. Perhaps their aim lies beneath the monastery..." Lindhart says.

"It seems to me that we should search the monastery for a clue as to what the enemy might be after. Of course, we must never underestimate the need for Preparedness, in case a battle should ensue." Hubert says then a girl with blue hair and purple eye, and a boy with black hair and red eyes came up to us.

"A secret meeting, Professor?" the girl says while Byleth and I are confused. "Oh, we haven't been introduced. I am Shamir."

"Shamir is one of the Knights of Seiros. And this young man is-" Edelgard says before getting interrupted.

"I work for Lady Rhea! And I'm Shamir's Apprentice! Oh, the name's Cyril.

"You work for Rhea?" Byleth asks Cyril.

"Yep. I help Lady Rhea with all kinds of stuff." Cyril says and continues. "I've gotta protect Lady Rhea, so that's why I've gotta learn all I can from Shamir."

"Cyril adores Rhea. That aside, If you need anything, ask." Shamir says.

Timeskip

it was the weekend and we all decided to explore to find out what the enemy's true goal is and I decided to ask about the Holy Mausoleum. "what can you tell me about this place?" I asked the Knight guarding it.

"The Holy Mausoleum is where the tomb of the divine Seiros lies. There she sleeps, eternally. That's pretty much what's in there. Just an empty coffin. It's sealed with powerful magic, to protect against would-be grave robbers." the Knight of Seiros says.

As I was leaving the cathedral I met up with Byleth. "did you learn anything?" she says.

"Yeah that the coffin of Seiros herself has a magic barrier. Whatever is in there has to be something much more important than bones." I say while we crossed the bridge back into the Academy.

"Interesting..." Byleth says and continues. "Would you please meet me in my room later."

"Uh... sure, I'll meet you there," I say as we reached the Black Eagle classroom. After we reported to Edelgard about what we learned and narrowed it down to the Holy Mausoleum. when that was finished I headed to Byleth's room only to find that she wasn't in here. "Guess she had something to do." As I said that I heard her double doors close.

 "I'm glad you made it, (Y/N)." I heard Byleth say as I felt arms wrap around me.

"Well, what do you want?" I asked before I was shoved onto her bed and looked at her.
