I'm in the training area with Catherine to sharpen our skills, well Cathrine insisted on challenging me. "You ready Cathrine?" I ask Cathrine while holding Devil Sword Dante in front of me.  

"Yeah, let's go!" She says and rushes at me with Thunderbrand.

"Too easy!" I say and locked my blade with hers. "Normally I'd use my powers...but I think it would be a bit much in a training match."

"I appreciate that," Cathrine says then struggles to push her sword closer to me. "Even if you aren't using your powers, your physical strength is nuts!"

"That what a supernatural heritage and years of demon hunting can do for you," I say before swapping to Balrog. I did a normal uppercut that knocked her sword out of her grip. "I guess we should stop here."

"Fine," Cathrine says. 

A guard ran up to us. " I have a report that Edelgards forces will be here in two weeks along with reinforcements!"

"No way. that's not enough time to prepare."Cathrine says.

"I'm afraid that is the truth." the guard says and leaves, possibly to inform the students as well.

"I'll meet with Byleth and the former Black Eagles," I say and leave as well.

I ran to the classroom where I saw everyone including Bernadetta. I informed everyone and Byleth confirmed what I said. "No way..." Caspar says.

Bernadetta looks at me with a face full of fear. "D-do y-you think t-that s-she will h-have demons with her?"

"I'm not sure Bernadetta, though it is a possibility,"  I say causing her to freeze. "Hey, Byleth how many people did you request to join us?" 

"Cathrine, Alois, Cyril, Lysithea, Leonie, Ashe, and Shamir all agreed to join our group defending the entrance," Byleth says. 

"so seven have agreed to join us," I say.

"Rhea will be joining the battle too," Byleth says

"As will I." I heard Luna say as she walks up to us. 

"Good to know," I say and scratch behind her ears making her stomp with glee.

Timeskip

It is now two days before the battle, everyone formerly apart of the Black Eagles gathered to hear what Alois has to say. "Listen up everyone! The Imperial army is upon us. If you can fight, pick up a weapon! Everyone else, hurry up and evacuate! We have the goddess's protection on our side. We have nothing to fear. victory will be ours!"

Cathrine walked up to the group. "Professor. Are you ready?" she asks.

"Almost," Byleth says.

"Well, hurry up. I don't need to tell you that the situation is dire. We have some support troops from the local nobles, but the army we're facing is immense. No matter how you look at it, we're at a disadvantage, even with (Y/N) on our side. To make matters worse, the enemy is being led by Edelgard. You know well how extraordinary she is." Cathrine says.

"Of course we know, but we can't let her get away. Also, Please cease your unwarranted glaring. We don't deserve your judgment." Lindhart says.

"My father was removed from his role as prime minister and is still under house arrest in the Imperial capital. As his successor...it is my duty to stop her!" Ferdinand says with enthusiasm.

"The way she's going about all of this is wrong. It's up to us to help her realize that!" Caspar says.

"I won't be following her, but...I won't run away either! I know (Y/N) will help us through this!" Bernadetta says.
