(Y/N) P.O.V

I was heading to the Entrance Hall where Seteth requested Byleth and me to meet him there for something. "Hey,(Y/N)! Can I talk to you real quick!" I hear Bernadetta yell from behind me.

I stopped and turned around to face her. "Sure, Bernadetta, what is it?" I say as she walks up to me.

"I wanted to thank you for saving me during that last battle," Bernadetta says twiddling her fingers.

"You don't need to thank me, I will always protect those I care about," I say smiling at her.

Bernadetta smiled too. "I nearly forgot, I need to help Leonie with the stables, Bye (Y/N)!"  she says and runs off in the direction of the stables.

I continued my walk over to the Entrance Hall where Byleth and Seteth were waiting. "Sorry if I made you guys wait for too long."

"That's fine (Y/N)," Byleth says before turning her attention to Seteth. "What did you want Seteth?"

"The messenger we sent to Daphnel returned with a reply. Please, read it at once." Seteth says and hands a paper to Byleth.

Byleth cleared her throat and began to read the letter. "I understand your situation. I will help you with whatever strength I have to spare. But there is a problem. Openly marshaling soldiers within my territory could provoke other members of the Alliance. Therefore I will secretly gather troops in Ailell, the Valley of Torment. Will your group be able to receive the soldiers at this location? From there, it should be safe to return to the monastery by following the border between the Alliance and the Kingdom." Byleth finishes the letter and hands it back to Seteth. "Ailell, the Vally of Torment..."

"Ailell is a deep valley located on the border of the Kingdom and the Alliance. People stay far away. There, we can meet without anyone finding out. It is decided. Make plans to meet up with our reinforcements at once." Seteth says.

"I'm just a tad curious, is it volcanic?"

"Yes, it is," Seteth says.

"Then we've been there before," I say.

"You mean when we helped Ingrid with her problem?" Byleth asks.

"Yep, that's what I meant," I say recalling everything that happened. "I fucking hope I don't get shoved into the lava again."

"You got out of it just fine last time we were at Ailell and you can take more hits than everyone here," Byleth says.

"I know, but it's still annoying when it happens to me," I say.

"Luna also came back after you sent her on that mission," Seteth says.

"Good, then he'll find a way to join us soon then?" I ask.

"Yes, he isn't sure how to join up with us though," Seteth says.

"Alright," I say.

"Not so bad at all, if I do say so myself," Leonie says.

"I see needles and thread. What has you engaging in the textile arts, Leonie?" Lindhart asks while Byleth, Lindhart, and I walk up to Leonie.

"Patching up a hole in my equipment bag. Take a look. What do you think?" Leonie asks while showing her bag.

"If your objective was to block up the hole, then I believe you did adequate work," Lindhart says.

"You might need a new one," Byleth says.

"I'm not going to throw away something I can still use. I can't afford to be wasteful." Leonie says.
