Reunion

(Y/N) P.O.V

Today was the day where we all decided to reunite at the monastery for the Millenium festival five years ago.  I was currently in the monastery with Seteth and a few knights trying to get it back in order. "This place has seen better days," I say.

"It certainly has, though we should focus on getting back together or else we won't be able to launch an offensive against the empire," Seteth says.

"We also need to find Byleth," I say with a sigh as I removed my mask and hood.

"I know but- wait... someone's here!" Seteth says and rushes off. I followed behind him then saw someone with their back turned toward us. "Who is it?! is that...it's you!"

The figure turns around revealing Byleth. "It's been a long time," she says waving at Seteth and gives me a warm smile.

"Yes, it has been... But this is no time for casual chatter! After you disappeared five years ago do you have any idea how dire the curch's situation became? Where were you and what were you doing all of those years? " Seteth asks.

"I was sleeping," Byleth says.

"I'm not too shocked considering the stuff I've seen along with the fact you were given the powers of a goddess," I say. 

"You slept for five years... In that case, I suppose there is nothing more to say. You should know that Rhea also disappeared after the battle at Garreg Mach give years ago. Since then, the knights have been fully devoted to searching for her. Even with the help of (Y/N) and a few of the old students they have yet to find a trace." Seteth says

"Was she captured by the Imperial army?" Byleth asks.

"It is possible. However, the Empire has not made any such statement as of yet. Even if that were the truth, there is no way for us to confirm. We have searched all over but we have reached an impasse. Unless we do something, our efforts to find Rhea and rebuild the church will be stalled indefinitely. Our opportunity to strike back is close at hand... sadly, we are short on military strength and Edelgard may resort to using rituals to bolster her army. However... Now we have both you AND (Y/N). Do you recall what Rhea told you? She asked for you to take her place should anything ever happen to her. She entrusted you with leading the people of Fodlan." Seteth says.

"I remember. She also told me to put my trust in (Y/N) if things  got to har for me." Byleth says.

"Then I beg of you... Please, heed her words. It is up to you to lead us and to defeat the Empire. No...to defeat Edelgard." Seteth says.

"Why me?" Byleth asks.

"There is a very good reason... but it is not yet time to divulge it. Just know that without you or even (Y/N),  we have no hope." Seteth says.

"You've led me and the others into battle many times and every single time we won... Even if I did use my demonic powers." I say

A Church Soldier came up to us. "Sir! Bandits have entered the area! They stole some hidden weapons and ran off! They're heading for the town, so that might be where they're hiding out... " He says.

"Vile thieves! Even with the knights gone, I cannot believe they would dare trespass here! This is unforgivable! Come, Professor, (Y/N). Let us give chase!" Seteth says.

"Heh, it looks like this is a good opportunity to see if you lost practice," I say to Byleth before I put my mask and hood back on.

"Why you little..." Byleth says before we prepared to leave.

Once we finally reached the abandoned town, Seteth was still very pissed off. "Looters deserve no forgiveness! After them!"
