(Y/N)'s P.O.V
"You all should know that once we're there I will have to close the portal behind us," I say to the small faction of the Resistance Army who will accompany me on the trip. "I will try to answer most of the questions today and the rest of them at the end of the month."
"Will there be enough time to conduct research?" Linhardt asks, holding a small journal.
"Possibly, the whole point of this dangerous trip is to find clues to this Fire Emblem. But if you don't pull your weight and help out that journal is gonna be incinerated." I say scowling at him.
"Any idea as to what we need to look for?" Bernadetta asks holding her hands together.
"No idea, but it most likely would be an ancient mural or a stone with writing inscribed on it," I say plainly. I then remember how my father left to go to the Demon Realm to destroy the Qliphoth with my uncle...
"Is there something wrong (Y/N)?" Byleth asks, with a look of concern on her face.
"Yeah... I was just thinking about my father. You see he left with my uncle to end a demonic invasion caused by my uncle. I don't know what happened to them, all I know is that some of their weapons appeared in my room." I say as I replay the moment I was nearly stabbed by the two blades in what became Trish and Lady's shop.
"Do you think that we might see them?" Mercedes says as she and Ingrid walk up to me.
"It's a possibility, but if I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes up. We may be very far away from where they entered." I say honestly.
"Oh, alright. It would have been nice to have them join us." Mercedes says
Timeskip
"Time to scout this place out," I say as I enter the ruins of Zanado to make sure it's safe and find the spot my grandfather opened a portal at. Before I began my search I hear a roar behind me. "This could be fun." I turn around and see a horde of Chaos charging up a spin, obviously aiming at me. Once they were finished charging they rushed me. I jump in the air while using Heavy Sword Rain to slow them down and eventually stop. I summon Devil Sword Dante on the ground and perform Round trips with Sword Formation killing half of them while the other half escaped spitting their neurotoxin at me. "Hey, that shit is gross," I say backflipping out of the way. The remaining group of Chaos was about to attack me again, but they were stopped by Seteth, Catherine, Shamir, and Flayn who all attacked each Chaos that remained. "You know I could have done that myself, but thanks for that."
"We saw that you left the monastery and decided to join you in case you needed help locating the exact location your grandfather, the fabled Demon Saint, arrived in this world," Seteth says wiping the blood off his lance.
"Ok, well it might be harder for you guys, mostly because none of you can sense demonic energy the same way I can," I say closing my eyes to search for a source of demonic energy; however, I was shocked. "This can't be right..."
"What's wrong (Y/N)?" Flayn asks curiously.
"There are several sources of demonic energy around the entirety of these ruins," I say opening my eyes.
"So what you're saying is that we need to each go in around the ruins until we find the correct source? Shamir inquiries putting her hands on her hips.
"Exactly, just look around until you find something suspicious, then let's all meet back here to discuss what we found," I say causing the four to nod and head off in a random direction while I manifest my wings to fly up for a birds-eye view of the city. After about three hours since we began our search and now the five of us went back to where we started to discuss our findings. "I did a few fly-bys around the ruins and found nothing," I say leaning against a pillar.
