It's been a few days since Jeralt was killed by Monica and Byleth has been under the weather ever since. She was also starting to be vengeful. Edelgard went to talk to her, but I'm not sure how well it went. I was currently in my room getting dressed when I heard a knock on the door. "I'll be there in a sec," I say and finish getting dressed.

I went to the door and opened it, on the other side was Seteth and Flayn. Seteth was holding an ancient stone tablet under his right arm. "I think it's about time for you to see the gift your grandfather wanted you to have," Seteth said and handed me the tablet that was under his arm. "It's a message, or prophecy, to you that could help you in your battle against Mundus."

I was a little shocked that Seteth knew Mundus, Flayn seemed to have noticed and started to speak. "Yes, we know of the Demon King. He and his legion of demons fought alongside Nemesis and his elites in the War of Heroes. If it wasn't for your grandfather's help, Saint Seiros and her allies would have been defeated."

"So after the war, he made this?" I say as I went to read the ancient:

"To (Y/N)

If you are reading this, then you must've been transported to this other world on a continent known as Fodlan. I am sure that you also know about my status as a Saint in this world. You are destined to save both this world and ours in a manner that I potentially cannot. When the final battle between our family and Mundus begins, you must combine the power of the Goddess Sothis and the power that resides in you to achieve a strength strong enough to end the Demon King once and for all. I have asked Cichol to give this tablet to you when his daughter, Cethleann, recovers from her thousand-year recovery slumber. They will try to help you the best they can along with my first love, Rhea, who uses Seiros as an alias. Before I left this world, Rhea gave me the Crest of Flames to aid in my battle against Mundus. The Crest manifested merely as a minor Crest and didn't work in tandem with my demonic power, you possess the major Crest and have the requirements I did not.

Your grandfather, Sparda."

After I finished reading I looked at Seteth and Flayn seriously. "You and Flayn aren't descendants of Cichol and Cethleann, you ARE them. is that right?"

"Yes, we are. I hope you can keep this information between us." Seteth said.

"Please (Y/N), it is something that can put us in constant danger if you don't." Flayn pleaded.

"Your secret is safe with me," I say reassuringly causing the father-daughter duo to relax and smile.

"Thank you, now if you'll excuse me I have to start working on the investigation on Jeralt"s murder," Seteth said.

"Ok, if you need help just ask," I say to which Seteth nodded and left along with Flayn. I decided to head out and catch some air. When I left the building where my and Rhea's rooms are, I saw it was raining. " I have a feeling it's gonna be like this for a while," I say to myself.

"Hey (Y/N), I see that you're doing a little better," Mercedes said out of nowhere as she walked up to me.

"You could say that, I guess. It's just that I wish I could have done something to save Jeralt but somehow I was hit by a spell that was able to fully paralyze me to the point where I could only watch." I said while I clench my fist.

"Oh...well if it makes you feel any better, Annette and I made sweets for the professor but she didn't want any."

"Thanks for the offer, but I want to focus on getting stronger so I can hopefully do better," I say and rush over to the training grounds for a while.
