Will

After class when the bell rang signaling that first period was over I quickly gathered my stuff. "Today's homework is on page 1." Mr, Clarke announced. Everyone began chatting loudly with their friends, ignoring the fact that we just had a abnormal science lesson. When everyone left the classroom I stormed up to Mr, Clarke's desk. "What the hell man?" I asked. "Language." He said. "What the heck man!" I said. "What did I do?" Mr, Clarke asked. My eyes grew misty and I could feel my face burning. Hopefully it wasn't as red as I thought it was. "Why'd you embarrass me?" I asked. He sighed.

"I didn't think you'd get offensive. I just thought I'd help out a bit." He said. "What do you mean 'help'?" I asked. "Will, a good teacher doesn't just look. They observe." He said. "I don't get it." I said confused. I've been confused a lot lately. "I don't mean to upset you but I've gathered evidence that you and another person need help. Not naming anyone. It's their business. You don't need to hide anything from me. I already know." He said.

The bell rang again and kids came in for their next class. I didn't say anything just left to get my stuff for history. I have this class with Mike and Lucas. I rushed to my locker and quickly get my stuff. I made it to history class only 3 minutes late but of course Mrs, Lim over reacted and gave me detention. I apologized and walked to my desk. I tried telling her I was talking to Mr, Clarke but she didn't listen. "Excuses! Excuses! Just turn to page 45 and get to work." She said. I sighed and decided to not argue and just flipped to the right page. After about 15 minutes she placed a red slip in front of me. A detention slip for today during lunch and after school today and tomorrow.

3 detentions? For being 3 minutes late? Really?! I groaned quietly and put the paper in my folder. The bell rang awhile after.

I rushed to my locker and put my stuff in it then got my stuff for Spanish. After Spanish is lunch. My first detention. Ever. I have Spanish with no one from the party. But I do have it with Troy. That's awesome.

I got to spanish and sat at my usual seat near the window in the first row. "Buenos dias Will. Como estas?" Ms, Ortega asked. I personally loved Ms, Ortega. She was a young short lady. She's skinny but not a cringy skinny. She had long brown hair with white highlights and some pink highlights and big hazel eyes. Her cheeks are covered with freckles. She always wears thick black eyeliner and a red lipstick. Her choice of clothing is pretty weird. Today she's wearing a button up (or down whatever you call it) pink short sleeve shirt that has a bunch of green stars on it. It's a little see through but she's wearing a neon green shirt under. She's also wearing a pink and green striped skirt that reaches a little beneath the knees and one green heel and one pink one. She has small little pink ear rings too. "Bien, gracias. Y tu?" I said back. She grinned. And nodded. "Bueno." She said before shifting through some papers. "Did you do your homework?" She asked with her thick Spanish accent. "Por supuesto." I said. I took it out and got up, walked to her desk and handed it to her and she put it aside on her desk.

She looked over at my folder and saw the red slip sticking out. "Tienes detenciòn? Para que?" She asked. I sighed. "llegué tarde a la historia." I responded. She pursed her lips and nodded slowly. "Well then, have a seat. The bell will ring shortly." She told me. I did as told and went to my seat. After awhile Spanish was over. Hello detention.

Mike

I picked at my lunch with my fork. "Mike you okay?" Eleven asked. I turned to look at her and gave her a small crooked smile. "Yeah. I'm fine." I lied. She seemed unsure but just linked her arm in mine and rested her head on my shoulder. I continued to pick at my food. My mind couldn't leave the topic of what we did in science. What did sexuality even have to do with science? It's so confusing. Bi. Bi. Bi. It means your attracted to both genders.

I'm definitely not attracted to both genders. Well maybe that's just what I'm telling myself. I found myself occasionally looking around the lunchroom for Will but there was still no sign of him. Maybe he left early. Lunch with a teacher? Maybe he was making up for all the work he missed. Maybe he's with Mr, Clarke studying bi. Wait what? You see, I can't get Will off my mind. It's always like this. I just want to always be able to see his face. To hug him. To.....kiss him. He's not gay. Neither am I. I'm straight! I like girls. I love Eleven. Not Will. I don't like Will like that. I'm not attracted to him that way. Or am I?

"I gotta go to the bathroom." I told El. She nodded and continued her conversation with Max and Dustin as Lucas just listened. I hurried out the lunchroom and was relieved to see that no one was in the hallway. I leaned against the wall and slid down so that I was sitting on the floor. I'm not bi......am I? I don't know. I'm just confused.
