Will

I sat on my bed staring blankly at nothing. I didn't know what to do or what I wanted to do. I wasn't really lost in thought because my mind was blank. The only thing lingering in there was Mike. Why? I don't know. It just was. Maybe this is for the best. It means I have time to get over him. There was a slight knock on the door and I snapped my head over. "Who is it?" I croaked out.

"Kelly." I heard her soft voice call from outside the door. "Come in." I managed to call back. The door knob twisted and she walked in. "Hey Will, good to see you up again. Would you like anything to eat? Perhaps something to drink?" She offered.

Honestly I was starving and my throat was dry, but wouldn't that mean I was surrendering? Like in the Greek myths. If any of the Gods was to eat ANYTHING in each other's territory it'd mean they were accepting to being a visitor, right? Or something like that. Isn't that what happened to Persephone? She was gonna be released from the underworld by Hades because Zeus commanded so, but she ate ⅓ of the pomegranates, so she didn't have a choice but to stay.

But this isn't a Greek myth. This is real life. "Sure." I forced out. "Okay, we'll come on. You have a visitor." She told me. I got up and nodded, not happily. I just wanted this to be over. I followed her out the room and she grabbed my hand and lead me down halls and into a elevator. She pressed the second floor and we waited in silence until it dinged and the doors opened. We walked down a hall and went through a door into a room.

The walls was painted a bright yellow and one wall was covered in hand paintings. Some of the hands were small others were big. They all either had initials in them or full names. There was tables put out everywhere with chairs and the floor was white rug.

I looked around at all the faces but none were familiar. That's when I spotted Eddie.
