Yuga's pov
  "Time to raise the flag!"
  "Star Dragon World!" Subaru said as he flipped his card over.
    "Dungeon World!" Kiri said.
  Dungeon World, huh? Isn't that the world that Mel uses? Ranma set up the camera and we started talking.
  "Ran Ran Ga-woo! Today's episode is going to be epic!" We exclaimed. "The thing is, today a new student had transferred to Aibo, and his name is Kiri Hyoryu!""He has since been challenged to a buddyfight by Subaru and we shall be watching them," Ranma added.
Meanwhile
"My buddy, Skyseer Ardent dragon, Cross Irisnese Astrologia!" Cross appeared beside Subaru in his SD form.
  "My..." Kiri hesitated for a moment before whispering,"I don't have a buddy yet."
  Ion sweat drops and announces, "Subaru has the first move!"
  "Draw, charge and draw. I cast! Proclaim, steer the stars." Subaru checks the top four cards of his deck, added two of it into his hand and put the rest into the gauge. "I buddy call Skyseer Ardent Dragon, Cross Irisnese Astrologia to the center!"(Size 2,6000,2,6000)
  "Behold my brilliant form!" Cross jumps into the center position. Kiri remains calm... no, he's laughing? "The chicken turned into a dragon! Hi-LAR-ious!" He mocked.

  "Did that child just call me a CHICKEN?!" Cross huffed. Subaru kept a straight face and equipped Seercrossbow, Babylonia Lupus. (3000,2)

"Finally I call Guardseer dragon, Gyron Magma to the right!"(Size 3,8000,2,5000)

"Now, Cross, attack the fighter with a critical of four!" Subaru commanded. "On it! I am not a chicken!" Cross charged towards Kiri.
  "I cast! Divine Protection Of Shalsana!" Kiri nullifies the attack and gains one life. "Now it's your move, Kiri!"
  "Draw, charge and draw! Hehehe..." Kiri smiled as he looked at his cards. "Call Big Surprise Pandora to my center!"(Size 1,5000,2,3000)

"I've got a surprise for ya!" The chest yelled.
  What da heck is this??? Ranma and I stared in amazement at the ridiculous monster. "Seriously?" I asked.

Dark Miserea's pov
  This monster is average, but he'll do. "I push him out and call Demon Lord, Gagnar to the center!" (Size 3,9000,4,6000 )Oh, come on!" Pandora left the field, leaving the demon lord and a bomb.

  "Rock, paper..." I started. Subaru stared at the bomb and seemed to know what was going to happen. He held his hand out. "Scissors!" I won, scissor to paper. "Gah!" He cried as the bomb exploded in his face and dealt one damage.
  "Hi-LAR-ious! When Pandora is destroyed, the one who doesn't win the rock-paper-scissors game deals one damage!" I giggled and continued, "Now I call Evil Dryad to the left (Size 0,3000,1,1000)and Dragon tooth warrior to the right!(Size 0,3000,1,1000)
Well, I must acknowledge my brethren, right?
  "I move Gyron Magma to the left! Galaxy Formation left, activate!
  "I cast! Pillar of fire to destroy Cross!" A fiery tornado engulfed Cross and discarded one of his souls. "Pillar of fire again!" I casted my spell again, destroying him completely.
  "Cross!" "What? With two spells, Kiri destroyed Cross!!" The girl screamed. "Galaxy Formation is down,Chu!"
  Shall we begin? I grinned sadistically as I started my attack phase...

<Timeskip to the end of the match>
Subaru's pov
"Final phase! I cast! Tri-star Decision!" I shouted.

  Kiri took the brunt of the impact, life dropping to zero. Thank goodness he doesn't have any more of the Quiescence of Cassiade spell in his deck.
  "Game over! Winner, Subaru Hoshiyomi!"
Ion declared. "The ace of studies is victorious, chu!" The alien added. "It's all...in the mind." I gestured. The virtual stage disassembled after that.
  Heaving a sigh of relief, I shook Kiri's hand. "You managed to corner me with just a Dungeon Enemy deck. I'm impressed." I complimented.
  He gave me the most eerie grin I have ever seen in response. "Sure...Good game." Cross tensed up and whispered to me, "There's a demonic aura surrounding him." I sweat dropped as he went to Yuga.
  I guess some people are just sore losers...

Dark Miserea's pov
  Gah! I can't believe I just lost to that geek! I have been insulting his buddy, bringing up his lonely, sad past and choosing the most effective and irritating abilities to activate. I thought I was bringing him down!
  I am going to break him down so much he won't get up again...but for now let's just focus on the ones in front of me.
  "You were awesome, Kiri! You were so close in defeating Subaru!" Yuga gushed. "I didn't even know that you buddyfight! Why don't you have a buddy?"
  Ranma paused and whispered something to Yuga, making him apologise for that somewhat insensitive comment.
  "It's fine." I spoke with with a sickeningly sweet voice and turned to the camera. "What's this?" "Oh, it's a camera for our ranga channel! Hi everyone! Meet Kiri himself! That's all for now, I hope you like the buddyfight. Don't forget to check us out!"
  He turned off the camera and checked the views. "Yes! Everyone likes your fight, Kiri!" He exclaimed. "Now I will introduce you to all my friends!" He added with a wide grin.
  "Sure..." I replied. Yes! Now I have more people to break! I smirked at that thought and followed them into the academy.

Ranma's pov
  No offence, Kiri, but you're giving me weird vibes.
  I heard from Subaru's classmates that you broke his invisible barrier, now, Destroyer has sensed an enormous amount of minus power emitting from you. What's up with that? Plus, you smile weirdly. (Okay, maybe that's not important right now)
  Anyway, Yuga introduced him to all our friends, including Masato which I think he had met before, Mel, Banjoe, Miko, Haru, Note, Eden, Seiji, Daijiro(wait a second ?!), and now he's meeting Mamoru.
  "Kiri, this is Mamoru Sekai!" "Hi!" Kiri waved slightly at our senior. Mamoru was about to wave back when the ring on his head started flickering nonstop.
  "There's an illegal monster nearby! I gotta go!" He said. "Transform!" Kiri was rather calm when Mamoru transformed into Cosmo Man and flew into the sky, I wonder why?
  "Is he a monster himself? Hi-LAR-ious!" Kiri chuckled. "No, that's his buddy Cosmo Man!" I explained the concept of transform to him.
  Oops, I shouldn't be bringing up the topic of a buddy. He doesn't have one, after all. At this, I have his greatest sympathy. I had once been a fighter without a buddy too, but Destroyer became my buddy and I became evil...
  But that's another story. I hurriedly added, "Hey Kiri, how do you feel like opening packs with us? We can improve your deck for you if you like." He quickly agreed and we headed to the card shop.
Yuga's pov
  "Aw yeah! I got a secret rare Gargantua dragon Legion Mode!" I whooped as I looked at the cards I got. "There's nothing to see here," Ranma sighed. "How about you, Kiri? Any luck?" I asked.
  He slowly tore open the packaging. Looking through the cards, he smiled with a hint of disappointment. When he reached the last card, it shone like the sun...
