Da Dan's pov
I heard that there's a new student in Aibo. I wonder what kind of a person he is. "Let's go, Deadly Eyes!" I hopped onto my hoverboard and me and my buddy zoomed into the sky. "I hope I can finally get to defeat somebody in a buddyfight, Yee hee hee!" I thought out loud.
Deadly Eyes flashed his signature pose and rolled his eyes. "I don't suppose you want me to kidnap his buddy too?" He sighed. "Be more clear with your description this time."
"Hey, you were the one who thought Garcat was Amaterasu, idiot!" I reminded him. "Now, let's go find that new kid!" I took a quick look around and saw a familiar gleam at the Castle store...
Yuga's pov
The blinding light stopped after a few seconds and a new buddy monster appeared in front of Kiri. "Woah..." Me and Ranma stared at him intently along with our buddies. I've never seen a monster like him before, but he looks awesome!

"I am Miserea, Overturn Ice Emperor, Miserea!" He declared as he glanced at Kiri, his buddy-to-be. "Are you the one?" He asked. Kiri was grinning creepily as usual, but this time... I think he really is happy, in his weird and confusing way!
Sorry, maybe it's just me. "Woah, Kiri. Congrats!" I patted him on the shoulder. "Yuga!" Garga suddenly pushed my hand away and glared warily at Kiri. "What's wrong, Garga?" I asked. "I sense a dark power around him. Now is not the time to touch him," he replied.
Huh? Dark power? What are you talking about, Garga? And what is wrong with Kiri?

Destroyer's pov
That child...Kiri. He is producing a massive amount of minus power. What has the new monster got to do with him, and why does he harbour so much hatred? I shifted in front of Ranma protectively. "What's wrong? All he's doing is saying hi to Kiri."
I ignored my buddy and turned to Deity Gargantua Dragon. He had also pulled Yuga's hand out of danger, warning him to stay away. Surely you would have noticed, deity of combat, the battle aura inside of Kiri...

Dark Miserea's pov
Hahahaha! At last! I'd like to settle my score with you once and for all. Wait, no. I won't kill you. I'll keep you alive. I'll crush your soul so much you would only wish you were dead!
My lips curled into a laughing pout. "From this moment on, you and I would be buddies!" I said. Overturn Ice Emperor, Miserea, apparently a double card of the real Miserea, smiled with that serene face of his, the one I've grown to admire and hate. If only he knew...!
"Deadly Eyes, now!" A voice ordered from the alleyway. As I watched with amusement, an idiot wearing an eye patch and girls' style clothes flew down from the sky. A red and black dragon with an eye covered by his hair landed in front of Miserea and tried to carry him away.
Hi-LAR-ious! Doesn't he know who this is?

Miserea's pov
As the crimson dragon swooped down at me, I knew exactly what I should do. "Nereus stream!" I shot a powerful jet of water into his chest and he flew backwards at the impact. "What the...?!" His buddy said as the dragon recovered and eyed me cautiously.
"Who are you, and what do you want with me or my buddy?" I questioned. "I am the great Da*Dan! And this is my buddy Deadly Eyes! I challenge ya to a buddyfight!" He demanded. I gazed towards my new buddy. Is he up to the challenge?
"Okay..." he replied, his smile turning into a confident smirk. I'm worried about him. Something about him just seems familiar somehow, but I just don't know what. "Well?" He asked. "If that is your wish," I turned into a card and flew into his deck.

Da*Dan's pov
"Wherever there's a buddyfight, Ion Nanana will be there!" The pesky commentator warped into our fighting stage in her UFO. "Today's fight is between Da*Dan and Kiri again, chu!" The alien added.
"Now will both fighters please luminize your decks!" I placed my hand on the deck zone cockily. "Dragonblood Sect! Appear with a big Da*Dan! Luminize! Bloody Nightmare!" I exclaimed.
"Let it begin. The demise of those who stand before me! Luminize! Dead End World!" He declared. "Aaaaannnnnd...Buddyfight!" "Time to raise the flag!"
"Dragon World!" I said. "Dungeon World!" He chose. Dungeon World, really? The only other one who uses that world is that shy little girl Mel Yumegatari. This guy probably isn't any better, hee hee hee—-!
"My buddy, Deadly Eyes!" I flipped his card over and my buddy materialised beside me. "My buddy, Overturn Ice Emperor, Miserea!" His buddy monster showed up behind him.
"I have the first move! Draw, charge and draw!" I looked at my hand cards with glee. "I call to the left, Madness Luna!"
"When the full moon appears, my blade seeks blood," he commented. "Now I equip, Fake Heart and buddy call to the right!" I set up my usual formation.

"Now, Deadly Eyes, attack the fighter!" I pointed at Kiri. "Cast! Quiescence of Cassiade!" He regains all the life he lost with a counter spell. "Tch! My turn is now over." That new kid just suddenly started chucking into his hand.
"You're so desperate, Dan Yamada. Hi-LAR-ious!" He mocked. Did that kid just call me by my real name?! He's going to pay! "Hey, you! My name is Da*Dan, idiot!" I shouted. He ignored me and began his turn...

Yuga's pov
"Draw, charge and draw." Kiri smiled that creepy smile of his once more. "I buddy call Overturn Ice Emperor, Miserea to the right!" Miserea emerged onto the right position in a watery whirlpool. "Cool! I wonder what abilities does it have?"I wondered out loud.
"You're so weak, you losturised your buddy just to win Yuga, yet you lost anyway." Kiri joked. Wait, is that true? "Now, I set Last Darkness Mission card, World End!" He casted the set spell and used Adventurers' staff to attack Da*Dan...
"FYI, World End is a really strong spell that destroys all the opponent's monsters and reduces their life to one when is reaches five souls!" Ion mentioned.
... "No use! Your precious buddy is forced to attack Deadly Eyes!" Da*Dan smirked.
As Miserea was pulled towards Deadly Eyes, Kiri's eyes gleamed with fighting spirit. "Go, Kiri!" Ranma yelled. "I'm going to show you what real power is! Overturn Ice Emperor, Miserea! Overturn!"He screamed.
"With this ability, all cards on the field except for Miserea, in our hand and in the drop zone are sent back to our decks." "Ehhhhh?" Da*Dan looked at his buddy flying back to him. "Now we draw six more cards and put the top two cards of our deck into our gauge."
"I've never heard of that before, but it's awesome!" I blurted. "Now, shall we begin?" Kiri gently smiled as Da*Dan's eyes widened in alarm. "Daaaaaaaah!"...
