Episode 13

Light's pov
  I sat down on the grass beside the canal boredly. We had as much luck at catching Dark Miserea as the past 23 years. Namely, none. "Sheesh, now I know why he hasn't been captured for so long," I sighed.
  "Why?" My buddy asked, concerned. "He's a smart trickster, although he makes no effort to hide his demonic self. Others don't have enough proof to say that he's a monster." I tilted my head towards him.
  "Is this the first time he disguised himself as a human?" I waited for an answer as my buddy nodded. We had long realised that he's harder to catch than an ordinary illegal monster. He's an evil genius.
  "We must find as much proof as we can, then gather more helpers," I decided. The last time I confronted Dark Miserea with the Ace Of Studies and Cosmo Man, it did not turn out well. Even Miserea had moved to his side.
  "How? You know how the last meeting went!" Geil enquired sceptically. I smiled cheerfully as I got up from the grass. "Hey, Light! Wait!" He stumbled while I walked away. I had a plan, and...
  I know just who to ask...!

Garga's pov
  I'm starting to think that Kiri is a human being, although I still don't trust him.
  I practiced my combat skills with my sword as the other buddy monsters, besides Amaterasu who's tending the cafe and Agito who was exercising with the Linkdragon Order, watched me.
  "Oh, hi there!" Light Kurozu waved at us as I stopped briefly to greet him back. "Hello, Light. What brings you here? You should be in class!" He tensed as Geil explained for him. "He got special permission to skip class."
  "Okayyyy..." I went back to practicing my kendo as Light facepalmed himself. "Anyway, I have something to discuss with you guys!" He huffed. "What?!" I kept my sword, annoyed by his frequent interruptions of my practice.
  "Is it regarding Kiri?" Cross asked calmly. That instantly caught my attention. I swerved behind and demanded him to speak quickly. "You're all monsters, so you should have sensed that he isn't...normal," he began.
  We all agreed gravely. "It's true I have been sensing power radiating from him, but what are you trying to say?" I urged. "I have absorbed a limitless amount of minus power from that child..." Destroyer added.
  "I think I've seen him fly...but I'm not so sure." Cross shook his head disappointedly. "He did heal really fast from that knife wound," Gavriel quipped wistfully. "And finally, he remembers a band from Magic World from almost half a century ago." Sync emerged as Light nodded at all of us.
  "What are you doing here?" I asked curiously. If the suspicion of Kiri was big enough to get Sync out of his garage, then it must be serious. "Note has become an avid fan of End Of The World, but when he searched for their music videos,"
  "All of them were from at least 23 years ago," he said/complained. Geil gathered us monsters and stated clearly that they needed our help to trap and capture Kiri once and for all. "Here's the plan..." As Geil whispered the plan to us, a sudden chill filled the air.
  I instinctively flung a dagger like a throwing knife towards the source of that cold sensation.
It stopped in front of the target and that figure swatted it away. "Don't hurt my buddy," Miserea warned with an ice-cold stare as we shifted uncomfortably.
  Yep, this would be a challenge. Yet, it's not impossible...

-After class-
Yuga's pov
  "Hey, Ranma! Let's film today's Ranga video!" I clapped him on the back as he took out the cameras. "Ow! Okay, okay!" He set up our game and we stepped in front of the screen. "Ran Ran Ga-woo!" "Today we are going to play Ultimate Frisbee!" I exclaimed.
  "The rules are simple, just pass the frisbee around to let it reach the end zone, and you get one point!" Ranma explained. "However, if you drop the frisbee, it goes to the other team!" I wagged my finger in front of the camera as we went to get our teammates.
  "Masato! Daijiro! You wanna play ultimate?" I yelled over to the soccer field. "For share! Count us in!" Masato agreed enthusiastically while senior Daijiro just grunted. "Agito! Can you and the Linkdragon Order come too?" I offered.
  "Okay! I'll get the frisbee!" I danced excitedly in my head as I waited at the field for Ranma. Yes! Masato and the most athletic monsters in the world are on my team! I wonder who would Ranma pick?
  "Yuga!" I turned around to see Ranma with almost everyone else. Yikes! Even Eden, Mel and Miko are on his team? I jumped with joy as Subaru blew the whistle. "Phweeet!" Masato paced up the field and chucked the frisbee towards Daijiro, who caught it easily.
  He heaved the frisbee towards the end zone where no one was, but I dived and crash-landed onto the line, clutching the disc. Yeah! With these people on my team, there's no way we'll lose! Just as Eden flicked the frisbee to a teammate, Agito flew towards her.
  I gleefully awaited the expert interception, but a hand grabbed the frisbee in front of Agito.

Dark Miserea's pov
  That was almost  too easy.
  I flew up in front of Agito and caught the frisbee in midair. My lips curled into a sadistic smirk as I quickly dropped and blasted the frisbee towards Ranma. "Gah!" He had barely put his hands out as the little disc smacked his fingers.
  "I just saved your lives, captain." I declared proudly and chuckled softly when they gawked in shock. "Hi-LAR-ious!" I clapped my hands and they seemed to snap out of their shock. See...it's not hard. I just let the dark water circulate around my hand and exert the pressure at full force.
  This is so fun! I smiled cockily in anticipation. Now, how shall I play around with them...?

Subaru's pov
  As I supervised the game of frisbee, a familiar sense of dread filled me. Kiri...he ran, jumped, and threw the frisbee with such inhuman speed. As his laughter reverberated through the field, I got more and more restless.
  He plowed through the wall of monsters and flicked the frisbee at Miko, who got hit in the head. I stood up and blew a long whistle, gesturing for a foul. I glanced accusingly at Kiri, yet he grinned lightly. He did that on purpose?
  As the game proceeded, more and more people got hit by the frisbee. I gritted my teeth as Kiri sprinted through the field, giggling. He was a demon, who got rid of those in his way with no mercy.
  I was about to stop the match when another monster joined Yuga's team. It was Miserea? I leaned forward as he glared at all the monsters. Why is he acting so hostile towards our buddies? I pondered. Now that I think of it, they did target Kiri a lot...
  But not just as a game.
  I think they even used their monster powers...
