Episode 16(final)

Yuga's pov
  As the Deity Gargantua Punisher crashed onto Kiri, he casted his Quiescence Of Cassiade spell, yet my impact's damage cannot be reduced. "Game, end. Winner, Yuga Mikado!" Ion announced. "A spectacular one-turn victory, chu!" Takokichi added.
  Yes! Although I didn't plan to win so soon, I had managed to say all my goodbyes to him. I shook his hand gently. Kiri, no, Dark Miserea was gritting his teeth tightly as I patted him on the shoulder.
  "We are friends, right?" I smiled cheerfully as he did the unexpected. He wiped his eyes and sighed, "I guess so..." before turning to all the others. "Whatever I did to you all, I apologise, but now..." He leered and engulfed himself in a purple whirlpool.
  "Kiri!" I reached in for him as Garga pulled my hand away. "He's turning into his monster form! Get away!" He urged as I was dragged away from my friend. When the water died down, a tall monster stood there, smirking.
  "Kiri...?" That monster chuckled lightly and whispered, "I'm sorry for now. I'll always miss you, my...friends." He held a hand out at us and shouted, "Mad Stream!" I stayed there, stunned as a figure stood in front of me...
  I opened my eyes to see Miserea protecting us, and I can tell he isn't happy about it.

Dark Miserea's pov
  Agh! Would you stop bringing that word up again?
  His voice echoed through my head as the impact hit me. Stupid Yuga, I don't want to recall that again! Yet, when he shook my hand, I felt...regret. I never felt regret except for when I fail to insult people.
  Poisonous tears stung my eyes as I snapped myself out of it. I'd wanted to get rid of them before anything comes, but Miserea got in the way. "You again? Don't tell me you're gonna stop me this time."
  I giggled. "Hi-LAR-ious!" He glanced at me with pity. "You think you cannot change, but Yuga helped you," he began. "You cried." I clenched my fists and raised them up. I did not..." I retorted softly.
  "Not only that. Our hatred for each other has faded. You took a knife for me," he reminded as the old wound throbbed. "So? I wanted to show you who's stronger!" I yelled. "But...you could have let me die," he added.
"So why didn't you?" He questioned.

Miserea's pov
  As I feared, he is trying to escape. But dragging our friends into this is unforgivable! My heart was slowly breaking to pieces as I confronted him. The brief month we spent together replayed in my head...
"So why didn't you?" My voice cracked as I repeated myself. "Well..." His smirk faded as he glared daggers at me, before shifting about uncertainly. Then, he laughed like a maniac and pointed both his hands at me.
  "I don't have to answer to that. Mad Stream!" He thrust a jet of dark water at me as I promptly turned it into ice. You leave me no choice, my buddy... I readied myself emotionally.
  Looking straight into the Inverse Water Lord's eyes, I noticed that the same hatred had risen in him again. "Miserea! You..." He shouted as I turned around and glanced at the flying Buddy Police cars that had gathered while we were talking.
  Was I wrong that he doesn't hate me anymore? "Go ahead," I said as I released a giant wave of power. "Ice Emperor's...JUDGEMENT." I lowered my arms in front of me as Dark Miserea screamed in pain and in disbelief. The water sphere hit him with pure force as I relaxed my hands and turned around.
  Farewell, my buddy. I hope to see you again...

Tasuku's pov
  "The illegal monster has been contained. Over," I reported back to HQ as Dark Miserea's card was sent to the monster prison. I sighed loudly as Jack asked me, "What's wrong, Tasuku?" I responded to him while folding my arms.
  "You have seen, Jack, about how our mistakes can haunt the future generation. I'm worried about all of them," I told him. Jack pointed over to where all the kids were and commented, "I don't think they're worried at all," and watched calmly.
  When I turned around, I saw Yuga and all his friends shouting their goodbyes...

"It was fun, Kiri! I hope we can play with each other again!" -Yuga

"Bye, Kiri. I hope you'll find peace." -Eden

"You can come back anytime, we'll be here waiting!" -Masato

"You'll always stay in my mind." -Subaru

"Be sure to come visit the cafe for some pizza when you come back!" -Miko

  I sweat dropped and looked back at Jack. "Interesting fella, isn't he?" Light walked to me and gazed at the capsule disappearing into the sky. "Indeed, Light. Now do you know why I didn't let you take him?" I quipped. "NO!" He gritted his teeth as I sweat dropped once more.
  "You either grow in hatred for him and mess up your judgment or, you grow emotionally attached and don't dare to hurt him," I explained. He pouted confusedly as I looked back. "It's complicated."
  I started to recall the good old days of my time in the buddy police youth when Gao, Tetsuya, Zanya and I would investigate for the Omni Lords. "Yuga's Gao's son, alright." I laughed as Jack agreed with me.
  "Yep. He's the most unconventional person in the world..."

Bonus! Extra scenes after he got arrested?
At the cafe...
Yuga eats his pizza happily. Miko walks over nonchalantly and says: "So, do you miss him?" Yuga looks up and replies, "of course! You remember how he trash-talks in all his buddyfights?" He recalls.
"Yeah. Remember my fight?" Miko adds. "Yeah, why?" Yuga asks as Miko blushes. "About what I said, it was true, Yu-Yu." She whispers. "Huh?" Yuga turns to her, surprised. She smiles shyly at all of them.
"I DO like you, silly." She declares as all except Yuga were ooh-ing and ah-ing. Yuga rigidly steps towards her and suddenly beams. He hugs Miko and everyone cheers.

In Saint Order Academy...
Dark Miserea escapes from prison again and travels to Saint Order Academy. He peeks into a window and sees Eden greeting a new student. "What's your name?" She asks.
"Oh, my name is Kiri Hyoryu, Miss Eden." He replies as Eden's eyes widened. Dark Miserea raises a hand at him but Gavriel stops him. "Really? You remind me of someone, but he wasn't timid like you."
Eden smiles comfortingly as Kiri tilts his head curiously. "He's like you, but he isn't shy to say out his thoughts." Kiri grins and says, "I want to be just like him!" Dark Miserea floats away silently.
"Tch, we meet again. But I'll let you off this time," he mumbles as Gavriel nods approvingly.

In Note's garage...
"Encore!" A fan called out. Sync sings 'Buddy Lights' loudly. "Thanks to that double concert, we finally got an audience!" Note cheers. Rucy, Gaap and Selle watch from the crowd. "I'm proud of you," they mumbled.
Asmodai yawns and complains, "Too bad. I liked them before." Rucy sweat dropped as Note plays Kunari. "Screeeeeee!"
"Yep, that's it!" Asmodai claps as the audience groans.
