The gift

I woke up to the same building where it is covered in white, I was still in hospital, same broken leg, same scars and bruises. It was defiantly not a dream. A nurse headed over to me holding a small parcel,"A boy asked me to give this to you when you were awake," she handed it to me the box was designed with vines, flowers, trees etc.
"Thank you, could you bring me a glass of water, I'm rather parched."
"Of course, if only the other patients were as polite as you. I'll go and get you some water." And she headed away to go and get a glass of water.I stared at the decorative box, what could it be, I lifted the label; it said,"Hey Terra, sorry about yesterday, sorry for ignoring you. I hope this can make up to it. Signed Samir XOXO" I gave a warm smile, he's so sweet. But I wonder where Phoenix flair and Dan have got to? I'm sure I'll find out soon, I undid the vine ribbon to reveal a beautiful golden necklace, there were five charms. Two ether side of the the fifth charm, when I saw the four charms I recognised them. They were mine, Phoenix's, Dan's and Samir's symbol and the fifth symbol was a 3D jasmine flower and on the petals, were our engraved names. But on the fifth petal was engraved,'We are the element benders, we look after each other no matter what happens, even when there are risks we will stand by each other side by side. Get well soon. Your friends Phoenix flair, Samir and Dan XOXO.'

That was the most sweetest thing anyone had ever done to me, even though I don't have many friends, it still made my day. I put it on straight away, I then saw a glittery card at the bottom of the box, I opened it and it read,'Get well soon EBBFF (Element Bender Best Friend Forever)-Phoenix P.S I will make sure Charlotte will not hear the end of it.' I giggled that's Flair alright. There was more,
'Hey Terra, hope you get well soon. I'll be sending you something for you later.-Dan.' I thought,'Dan didn't have to get me a gift, it was my fault that I got beaten up,' then I noticed at the bottom of the page read P.T.O. So obediently I turned the page over, there was some writing, this is what it said,'Dear Terra, when I first came to your school and saw you, I was in love. You made my heart and my day. Then when I found out you were an element bender, I was overjoyed, but I hated what Charlotte had done to you. Both incidents. When I did my performance, I went overboard to IMPRESS you. I hope you were impressed, then when I ended, you hugged me. I know you didn't realise it but I did. And how you didn't take your hand away when I was holding it yesterday. I admit it, I love you. But what I want to know is, do you love me? -Samir' I dropped the card on the floor with shock, I then put my hands to my face with a gasp, I tried to pick it up, but I forgot about my leg, so I was useless. I had an idea, but it was risky. I spotted a flower in a vase next to me I then used it to grow vines to close the curtains quick and then grab the card. It was very tricky, but I was able to get it again. I heard footsteps coming towards me. As fast as I could I got rid of the vines and the flower returned to normal just as the nurse came in,"Here's your water Miss Vine, why's the curtains drawn?" I shrugged my shoulders,"I'll pull them back anyway." She pulled them back and left the water on the dressing table. I held the page with the letter open on the table with the water and box. What could I tell him?!
