"Hey, Flame, did you know that if you catch a leaf while it's falling, you will get good luck?" He looked at her and jumped up with excitement. "Really? I didn't know that! Hey,sis! Lets have a contest! Whoever catches the most leaves falling will have the most luck for when we learn how to hunt!" Maple smiled and wagged her tail in the air. "You're on!" She looked over to where her sister, F.O.X., was sitting and staring at the sky, not moving an inch. I'm gonna sneak up on her!, she thought. With her haunches in the air, she crept slowly to her sister. Flame saw what she was doing and watched with awe. He snickered like a evil fox. Maple whipped her head around and shushed him. He put his two forepaws on his mouth and continued to watch. When Maple was right behind her, she stepped on a twig. It cracked. F.O.X.'s ears perked, then returned to its spot. But, before Maple could take another step, F.O.X. said, "I know you are there, Maple." Her voice sounded just like mother's, Maple realized. When F.O.X. turned around, she looked just like mother. A beautiful maple color,just like mother. And her features were just like mother, too. Green emerald eyes that sparkled in the sun, brown paws just like mother, every single delicate detail. "I decided to sneak up on you, sis. Anyway, what are you doing?", Maple asked. F.O.X. replied, "I'm observing the forest." Flame had came and he and Maple were sitting side by side by F.O.X. Flame cocked his ears and said, "What's observing?" F.O.X. sighed and said softly, "It's when you have to look, listen, and smell at the same time. If there is danger somewhere, I'd know to tell Dad." Both Flame and Maple oohed at the thought of it and all three of them returned to gazing at the sky.
