Chapter 10

~Scarface's POV~

Me & my brother Sile lives in the deepest, darkest, smelliest, ugliest, baddest, most rancid place any creature have seen, in their life, in Maple Forest. Yea, I know that the prologue sounded like we lived in an ok place, but we don't. Here, not alot of prey is here. That's why we left a few miles of beautiful land for the prey to live. Anyways, let's get to us. I was sitting in front of our burrow that we shared, while Sile was busy sniffing a trail made by a passing creature, sometimes lashing his tail angrily. I sighed. "Sile, you've been doing this for some time now. I think you should just stop." He whipped up his head with a growl. He padded over to me & got close to my face. "Look, when someone passes in my territory, they HAVE to go! Understand?" I nodded, scared to death. He turned & looked at the trail. "I finally figured it out!" I got up & stood by him. "What creature was here?", I asked. "There has been a female wolf here, with her pack?", he replied with a hint of confusion. "I thought only males lead the pack, or something like that.", I said my thought. I do that alot. He nodded. "Well, she can stay, for now...", his voice trailed off. I turned my head to him. "Wait, are you saying, you like her!?!?!" He whipped his head to me & growled, "No I don't, liar! I only like her-" He quickly stopped, his eyes frantically searching for an excuse. I chuckled & said, "Oh, it's ok." He rolled his eyes & started walking towards the burrow.I sat down down with my tail high. "Ya know, I think that fox, F.O.X., is beautiful." He turned & looked at me with an 'are-you-for-real-?' look. I nodded back to him. He came up by me & sat. "We only spied on them for one day, & now you already like one of them?" I shook my head up & down. "I can't believe I'm in love with her already."I can't believe that you didn't make any noise while we were spying on them.", he said while raising his eyebrow. I smirked. "I know. It's amazing that they didn't see us." He got up & said, "Well, I'm going to sleep & rest up for tomorrow." I looked at sky, which was turning into a rich orange and yellow colour with the sun as a centerpiece. "Same with me-", I said as I turned around to find that I was talking to myself. I rolled my eyes & walked towards the den.When I was right at the entrance, I heard what sounded like......a mini explosion? I turned my head back to see a burning ball of fire arching across the sky like a rainbow. I thought, What IS that? Well whatever it is, I have to tell Sile. I quickly dashed into the den as the sun went down lower.
