When she went inside, her home was nice & clean, unlike any normal fox den. It was split into 3 paths, the first one leading into Morning Star's & Fireheart's nest, the second one leading into the triplet's nests, and the last one for food storage & guest's room. F.O.X. padded down the first tunnel. It was dark & ominous, sometimes seeing tree roots twisted & gnarled into the earth, & crumbs of dirt falling & tumbling down the side from time to time. She finally reached the end of the tunnel, which leaded into a hole. It was shielded by a curtain of fern leaves hanging from the wall, kept on with thorns. She pushed through them & walked into her parent's room. For her & Flame & Maple, it was like paradise. It was the biggest fox den you have ever laid eyes on. It was circular & kept constantly clean. All around the walls were drawings of the family kept up on the wall with thorns. They were drawn by a good friend of her mom. There was also herbs & medicine supplies kept in pouches made by leaves that were collected over the years. They too, were tacked up by thorns. Sometimes, it would smell very nice or very unpleasant. In the middle, was their nest. It was composed of fern leaves, a few palm leaves, & a few things from the Twolegs. Shining down on the nest was a ray of sunshine, which came from a hole in the ceiling. If there was any heavy weather, they would cover it up with a big boulder or leaves, which is also held down by thorns. F.O.X. turned her attention to the nest, where her mother was laying down next to FireHeart, who was sleeping heavily. She cautiously tip-toed up to her mother, who was sleeping soundly. She nosed under her chin & whispered, "Mum,are you awake?" Morning Star eyes opened slowly. She blinked a few times before sitting upright & yawning. "Oh, hello, sweetie. What brings you here?", She asked with another yawn. F.O.X. stood up straight & asked, "I was wondering if me & the others could go & hunt something to eat right quick. "Morning Star replied heavily, "Sure, but hurry back. It'll soon be night. Also don't get alot. It'll just be a quick snack." F.O.X. nodded & turned to leave. Morning Star was just about to lie back down until she gasped & sat right back up. "Oh, & one more thing, sweetie." F.O.X. stopped & turned her head to hear. "Watch out for the traps. Those cursed Twolegs has set them up. If you see them, whatever you do, DO NOT touch them! Understood?", She said sternly. "Yes,Mum.", F.O.X. called back. Morning Star also said, "F.O.X.,darling." Again, F.O.X. called back. "Yes,Mum?" She just shook her head & replied. "Oh, never mind sweetie. Just, never mind. Go, run along now." F.O.X. nodded & disappeared through the curtains once more, trotting down the tunnel at a quicker pace.
