~F.O.X.'s POV~
I woke up to someone-or something-laying on top of me & breathing into my face. I knew it was Flame cause I could feel his fun, fiery, & energetic spirit from his body to my soothing, calm, warm, & loving spirit. I could hear him quietly talking to Maple about something. I got tensed & ready to move, my nostrils flaring. All of a sudden, I started bucking around like a wild horse. I could hear Flame yelling & trying to stay on. I ran down the long tunnel & out into the open so I could get some more room to jump around. Dust was flying up everywhere we went. I saw a glimpse of Maple running out to watch. Following her was Ranson. I continued bucking around until I heard Flame gasp out, "Ok, ok, I give up!!! Just please stop!!!" I stopped bucking & stood up like nothing happened. I didn't feel tired at all, I thought. That's so...unusual. Flame fell on his back & closed his eyes. Then he managed to shriek out, "HOW CAN YOU NOT BE TIRED YET AFTER ALL OF ZAT!!!!!" I laid down beside him & said, "I don't know. When you was on my back," Ranson & Maple came over to hear better. "it felt like the energy was drained from me. Then when I stopped, I felt it quickly build back up. I don't know how these things happen, but they do...." My voice trailed off as Flame got up & said, "Ok, that's it! I'm now putting my paw down! I'm tired of all these weird things happening to you, F.O.X. I'm gonna ask Mum about all of this." And, with that, he stomped into the burrow with Maple following him. Oh great, I thought. Now its just us again. I saw out of the corner of my eye Ranson coming over & laying down beside of me, twining his tail into mine. "So, F.O.X., how are you today?"I'm fine, nothing going on" Ranson nodded and rubbed up against me & started to clean me. Wow, I thought. He sure is nice. After a while, I started to get drowsy & before I knew it, I fell asleep.
