"I will protect you sister, even if we are like Yin and Yang''
This was what he said as he departed from the Samurai and Child he had just met and saved. He didn't run back, since he wanted to speak to his other half. He sat down under a tree and focused his mind, making him able to visit the realm in which he first visited his other half. Yami wasn't too happy given the fact they had just discovered that not only is the goddess Amaterasu is on this earth but that she fused with his host's sister. He soon returned to the shrine, which he found had been enlightened by many lanterns. He had never experienced something like this before, and saw a crowd gathering at the main shrine, however he noticed a few people stood out a bit too much: three soldiers of Konohana disguised as merchants. But the other two were far more interesting: Nobunaga and the Child. He wondered why they hadn't left for Tetsu no Kuni yet, and thusly approached them. They seemed to be enjoying the many lanterns coloring the streets as if they were miniature suns. ''so, it seems you wanted to visit first?'' he asked them. They then turned around to face him. The child was the first to speak: ''well we wanted to see where you lived, young one.'' she said with a voice unlike her own. ''is it really you, kid?'' he asked her. She sighed: ''we thought it would be safer for me to take control for a little while. And it's not as if we are the only ones with a secret'' she gestured to the blade on his back. ''mind telling me how you managed to not only create but also wield one of my Divine Instruments?'' he sighed and responded, calmly: ''a meteor struck down nearby, when I went to investigate, I found it and as for how I'm able to wield it? I have been training with it for at least 5 years by now'' she seemed surprised at this fact. But before she could speak an arrow flew past her head, nearly hitting her. Yume could see from the angle that it had to be shot from above their height level. He looked around and noticed that many of the villagers had actual weapons on them. He then realized what had happened but before he could even act the ''villagers'' had surrounded them. All of it happened so fast that neither him nor Yami had time to register it. He was struck on the head with a blunt object knocking him unconscious. When he woke up, he noticed the entire place was completely empty. That is...except for a small note attached to the loose soil in front of him by a small worn dagger. He stumbled forward and grabbed the note and began reading it."If you're reading this, demon child. We have taken the girl and the samurai captive. You have until tonight to return to Konohana and return as it's jinchuuroki. If you value their life as is told by the followers of the shrine, you will return here. Or they will pay for your defiance with their lives.''
When the child had finished reading, something clicked within his mind locking Yami out of being able to control his body. This took the god aback as the child had never cared much for when Yami took control of their body. He remained quiet as he walked back to the shrine. He opened the door, walked inside past the unconscious Rao, grabbed his blade and used his powers to fly towards the village he had sworn to never return to. This time with a proper plan to close off this part of his life once and for all.
When he reached the outskirts of the village, he made a small stop at the small temple that started this all and prayed there. ''I don't get it kid, why do you care about her so much Yume?'' the godly half asked him. ''you never properly explained why.'' Yume responded calm and collected: ''the reason why I never told you this is because I knew you'd go crazy if I told you why. But I'll tell you since now it matters not. She is my little sister'' the god just remained quiet until saying: ''just go save her already''
They made their way to the gate of Konohana he escaped from several years ago.
They reached the gate soon after, greeted by two guards. ''well seems like the chief's plan did actually work'' They allowed him to enter the village, and Yume kept walking towards the massive Cherry Blossom tree in the middle of the village where the child and Samurai were bound and restrained.
The village leader greeted him with a massive smirk on his face: ''seems like you've made a good choice for once in your god-forsaken....'' He was cut off by Yume speaking: ''I challenge you to a duel, Father''
