''Long before I was even born, I was destined to be his next vessel''

It had been 5 years since the attack of Konohana on the Grand Ise Shrine. And 5 years since the residents of the shrine discovered who the child was fused with. he had gotten far better at both swordplay and utilizing his powers for good. Word of the attack had quickly spread throughout the world. However he did not seem to mind the world knowing about his powers, however he made sure to make it seem like he had learned the powers. This was mostly because both him and his other half were scared of how the world would react to the fact that the god of darkness had been resurrected.

A few days later

As the child was walking through the forest he noticed something soaring through skies above the forest. It appeared to be a small meteorite, which was strangely low for a meteorite. However he decided to ignore it for now. A few minutes later as the child was making his way back, he felt a weak chakra pulse on the other side of the forest, one he was all too familiar with. his little sister's chakra. He started making distance towards the pulse and began running faster. When he came close to it, he sensed a very powerful different pulse. An ancient pulse near her sister's pulse. This made him hurry even more. But when he came close to the pulse, he noticed something: A Samurai and a small child. Though the Samurai would have been the most obvious, the child was more important. He simply watched as she walked towards the man, who apparently had saved her. He finally noticed what was so strange about the child. Just like him, she had fused with a demon just like her. One he recognized all too well, the Kyuubi no Kitsune, otherwise known as the godlike Nine-tailed Kitsune. As he slowly approached them he put on his cloak to hide his other side.

After he had gotten closer the child had noticed.

Greetings...travelers. Both the child and the samurai jumped, since they had not noticed his approach

The young child jumped in fear and grabbed onto the samurai's leg. The samurai's first reaction was to unsheathe his blade. However, he stopped when he noticed the similarities between the girl and the man standing before him. ''why are you here?'' he asked Yume. He sighed and looked at the girl behind him. I won't hurt you young one. You and I aren't that different, we both have fused with dark creatures. The girl looked at him confused until a throwing dagger whizzed past her head, nearly hitting her. The samurai and Yume looked at where the dagger was thrown from and saw who had thrown it: a Konohana Shinobi commander. Both the samurai and Yume were on their toes as the commander of the shinobi spoke. ''stand down Samurai and return the jinchuuroki at once.'' he spoke. The child cowered behind the samurai's leg, visibly terrified which only angered Yume even more then he had already been about being in contact with Konohana again. The samurai wanted to speak, but was cut off by Yume. ''why would we give this child back to you in this state, obviously she is terrified of going back to Konohana'' he spoke. The samurai noticed the lining on Yume's hand and thought that it might be better to let him take care of it. The commander spoke again, this time directly to Yume: ''you're quite far from the shrine, aren't you freak.'' This was meant as nothing more than an insult, but what came after pushed him past his limits: ''or have you decided to return to your home and repent for your sins of being a demon freak''

The child stepped in front of the samurai, and spoke once more: ''You will not take this child back to Konohana as long as I stand"" this voice took everyone by surprise, but both parties responded differently. The samurai and girl stepped backwards, but the commander simply laughed as he drew his weapon. He seemed to be targeting Yume of all people, but this was nothing new to him. However he could not use his full power, as this would surely alert the entire village and cause a war between the county in which the shrine resided and Konohana. As the Commander charged at him, Yume unsheathed his blade and retaliated with a single strike. The commander fell down and he knew he would not win this battle by himself. As he looked up he noticed the blade hovering above his head. Yume spoke once again: ''I'm giving you a chance to leave. Do not take this chance for granted. You would not have survived if I didn't hold back." the commander stuck in his pride attempted once again to attack Yume, who dodged his strike turned to the child and said: ''close your eyes, young one" which in turn she did. As soon as she did, she heard an ear-piercing scream. When she opened her eyes she was terrified to see the head of the commander had been cleanly removed from his body.

A few moments later, at the campsite

''So how did you know where we were?'' the samurai asked. Yume sighed and responded: ''I felt two chakra pulses, one weakened one which I could believe to be the child"' he looked at the child who had fallen asleep in the samurai's lap. ''and the second one was very powerful, like that of a deity.'' The samurai's eyes widened as he spoke: ''she is the jinchuuroki or the vessel of the great Goddess Amaterasu and the Kyuubi no Kitsune"' this took Yume by surprise as his other was scared awake by that name. he took a deep breath to calm himself down, then responded: ''I could sense the Kyuubi no Kitsune, but the Goddess Amaterasu? When did that happen?'' ''only a few minutes before you arrived'' the samurai responded. Yume got back on his feet, then asked him: ''where will you be headed next? You can not stay here for long'' the samurai responded: '' we will soon depart for Tetsu no Kuni, we hope to reach it in a few hours after awakening next morning.'' This calmed Yume's conscience. ''that's good to know...'' he didn't know or say the Samurai's name, but was given it when he responded: ''the name is Nobunaga'' the child was taken back by this, after all Nobunaga was a legendary warrior. Nonetheless, he responded by giving him his name: "Yume, that's what people call me'' Nobunaga smiled as he said: ''thank you for helping Yume'' Yume responded: ''it's no problem, but I must depart for the shrine. Don't want to keep Rao waiting'' as he prepared to depart from the campsite, Nobunaga asked him: ''why don't you come visit Tetsu no Kuni? Naruko would love to meet you again'' Yume smiled as he said: ''sure I'll stop by when I get the chance'' he then departed from the campsite, and when he knew he was alone he said to himself:

"I will protect you sister, even if we are like Yin and Yang''
