We all focus on rising after the fall, but maybe we should pay a
little more attention to the fact that we're all gonna slip, so it isn't a surprise when we crumble when we rise and can learn to be wise and still respect ourselves enough to look ourselves in the eyes,You've got problems, I've got problems too,
To have a set of morals to follow and speak aloud our insecurities is the only way to be true,
Truth is in the action wedded to the words we speak when we climb the peak of salvation and say to the world, "This is my future, this is my nation,"And I'm not talking about religion,
I'm talking about the conquest of inner demons that salivate in preparation of our downfall,
Because we all slip some times,
We all struggle to find some rhymes to rhyme the way feel – to make ourselves feel better – to do something to heal but my heel is cut so I'm cut down,
Now I'm thinking, if Troy was a toy for the powerful to play, what way can I find to live my life with no fear of strings stringing me along like a puppeteer at work? This question is beserk and I don't have the answers,
We all fall some times,
And every insecurity we have has placed a bet that we can't find the button to reset our minds to get to a point where we're somewhat okay and not out of joint, but our common worry is not to disappoint,
Nothing cuts deeper than hearing that from someone instead of their anger, it's like a knife that digs in and removes that split second of happiness from your life,But we all make mistakes,
We all need to find a way to find the lever and utilise the brake, to take a break from ourselves and do what it takes to let go,
To let go of the flow of self resentment flowing in our veins, to stop our brains from thinking the wrong things and stop the wave of negativity the power of thought brings,Nothing worth doing is ever easy,
And this is one of the things that'll never be breezy,
It's a tussle and struggle to hustle for a chance at the gleaming path that's only a small chance higher of not leading you astray,At first they said that glimmers only glimmer at a glance, but it happens all the time today,
Keep your chin up and walk tall,
Hope for the best and plan for the worst, we've all got a hunger and our demons have a thirst,
And remember,
We all forget some lines,
And we all fall some times.
